Description

Welcome to Oceanfront Rhythm, a professionally managed and operated vacation rental located -- as the name says -- on the oceanfront. This Plantation Style cottage has two bedrooms and one bathroom with soaring wooden ceilings, fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining area and a lanai for watching the waves. Baby's Beach for gentle swimming is right outside your front door, and some of the best beaches on the island are just a short bike ride away. You'll have easy access by hopping on the 7 mile bike path that runs along Kauai's eastern "coconut coast" just in front of the home.

The home is minutes away from historic Kapa'a town with plenty of shopping and restaurant options. Also convenient to both the north and south shores of Kauai, the Wailua river (waterfalls and kayaking!), and all the breathtaking scenery the island has to offer. The soothing sounds of the ocean waves make it likely you'll never want to leave. Comes fully equipped with all the comforts of home.

The home has undergone many improvements, including new furnishings, fresh paint and many other additions. A new "cabana" next to the water has been added, which provides a great covered area for lounging, dining, doing yoga or just hanging out. And the internet connectivity has been upgraded to better accommodate those who will be working from paradise.

Please note that we have adopted new cleaning and sanitizing protocols as recommended for Short Term Vacation Rentals to address your safety concerns.

We love our community and support the local artists and shops. To introduce you to a few of them, we'll feature a complimentary gift basket with some of our favorites. Also, before you arrive, we'll send you a questionnaire to better understand your interests for your trip, and (if you're interested), we'll prepare a customized itinerary/list of recommendations just for you.

Please keep noise to a minimum especially before 8am and after 9pm. Elevated noise activities and/or amplified music shall not be permitted after 10pm.

No Smoking:
This home has a strict No Smoking rule. Violators will be fined $500.

Keys:
Checkout time is strictly 10:00am unless otherwise arranged. Please be sure to put door keys back inside the lockbox upon your departure. Please leave the home in good condition. Kindly clean any major spills, stains, etc.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Ellen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
