We are currently a 5 STAR rental on other rental websites (new to Trip Advisor)

The Blanco River Retreat consists of TWO newly renovated houses situated on 6 riverfront, rolling acres nestled in the heart of the hill county between Wimberley and Blanco, Texas - within a 15-45 minute drive from most hill country destinations. We are proud to say Blanco River Retreat was featured in Texas Monthly magazine as a top rated vacation spot.

The Retreat comfortably accommodate 23 guests. There is plenty of room in the lodge house for everyone to congregate and enjoy each other, yet the two houses allow plenty of space for everyone to spread out as well - a great feature to have in a property.

The two houses are approx 40 yards a part. Lots of room and everyone can congregate at the lodge house if they wish. You will have easy access to 255 yards of the beautiful Blanco River - that's over 2 football fields long y'all. With easy river rock beach access.

Our Main Lodge is 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms featuring three suites, plenty of entertaining space, and a recreational/bunk room. Each suite has a king sized bed and a private full bathroom. The downstairs suite has a queen bed and twin bed (bunk style) in a semi- private corner room, and a queen pull-out sofa bed with a premium mattress in the open area with a smart TV with Direct TV, wet bar, mini fridge, full bathroom, and direct access to outside.

Our farmhouse inspired converted barn is 2 bedrooms, 1 large shared loft and 2.5 baths. The barnhouse has two bedrooms downstairs (one king bedroom and one queen bedroom). Both rooms share a large full bathroom and a half bath on the first floor. An exterior staircase leads to an adorable farmhouse loft that is perfect for families, a teen hang out, or like minded guests. The upstairs room has a full bathroom, 2 queen beds, 1 full sized bed, a pull out sofa, smart TV and DVD and a table and chairs for games/puzzles, etc. The two kitchens are new with all major appliances and fully stocked with dishes, silverware, bar ware and serve ware.

The property also features a large, resort style swimming pool, an over-sized hot tub large enough to seat 10 people, and a fire pit.

Both houses have amazing views and direct access to the Blanco river with abundant swimming holes and jumping rocks. We welcome you all to come sit by the river and make life long memories with those you love.

***EVENTS***

The headcount limit for our property is 30, not including children under 5, event staff and officiants. We love small, intimate ceremonies and we provide a beautiful river and valley back-drop.

Please note, if you intend to have more than the max occupancy of 23 people on the property during your stay for a party or special event, please let us know of your plans in your Vrbo inquiry.
