Luxury mountain escape. Perfect for family getaways.

Our home has the most incredible views in Steamboat. The home enjoys views of the main Steamboat Ski Mountain from the covered front balcony off 1 of 2 master bedrooms. Every room in the home enjoys huge unobstructed west facing views across the valley and town of Steamboat - Enjoy Emerald Mountain fireworks from 1 of 4 balconies or while relaxing in the hot tub or take in breathtaking sunsets while cooking, eating or relaxing in the 2 story family room.

The home has 3 bedrooms with king size beds, new luxury linens, and plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The two "Master" rooms with en suite bathrooms with showers and oversized tubs are upstairs. Our west facing Master has a fireplace in the room as well as a body shower. Not to be outdone, wake to views of the ski gondola from the second master.

The third king bedroom is on the lower level which boasts +25ft ceilings in the game/family room, a private bathroom and access to the private hot tub.

Our 4th bedroom is a bunk room with 2 sets of bunks which are twin over full. Kids, old and young, will love bunking here together. That bedroom also has a dedicated bathroom with shower and sunset views as well.

Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need to prepare a family meal together on the gas Wolf range/oven. 12 sets of dinnerware, wine glasses, and all cooking utensils are provided along with a gas grill off the kitchen balcony. The kitchen enjoys incredible views over Rollingstone Golf Course to Emerald Mountain, downtown, and Sleeping Giant in the distance.

The kitchen and dining room overlook our main 2 story family room complete with stone fireplace (gas burning), another large deck, and even more views.

To get to the mountain: The chalet is a 3 min drive to the ski area. Drive and park at the free Meadows lot or private drop off can also be arranged.

Getting around

There is a free city bus that services between the mountain, grocery and downtown. It is nice to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you want to explore on your own. The roads are extremely well maintained and plowed constantly. Our reco for the mountain if you drive is to park in the free Meadows Parking lot (3 mins from our home) and then take the free shuttle that will drop you and your gear right next to the base. It's actually easier than the closer lots as you won't have to carry your gear nearly as far. Transportation to/from the airports (Denver and Hayden), we'd recommend calling Go Alpine.

Interaction with guest

We live next door and will greet you upon arrival and show you around to make sure you're comfortable with the home and point out special features. We're happy to recommend restaurants, things to do, and even help get services set up before you arrive...grocery delivery, private chefs, in-home boot and ski fittings, etc.

If Abbey Rock (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
