Description
Originally a caretaker's quarters, this charming cottage, brand new to the vacation rental market, is ideal for couples retreats, girls getaways or family vacations. At roughly 1000 sq ft, the property has just undergone a complete renovation to provide guests with every luxury and convenience. Tucked away on a quiet hillside it is easy to forget that it is mere blocks from the shops, restaurants and year round festivals and events on Placerville's historic Main Street and just a few miles from the farms and wineries of legendary Apple Hill.
Get a good night's sleep in either bedroom furnished with a queen sized bed with new pillow top mattress and luxury linens. The living room sofa folds into a bed that can accommodate an additional adult or two younger children.
The first bath is a full with a shower tub combo easily accessed by both bedrooms. The second is a half bath/powder room off of the main living area. Towels, linens, blow dryer, soap, shampoo and conditioner are provided.
Stay comfortable no matter the weather with ceiling fans in every room, plus a brand new heating and air system with individual temperature controls for each room. A washer/dryer unit is also provided and housed in the 1/2 bath, as well as an iron and ironing board
Relax on the sofa after a day of sight seeing and watch a movie from the extensive DVD collection, catch a show on the smart TV with netflix , or challenge your companions to a board game.
Ideally situated in the heart of gold country, surrounded by an abundance of farms, wineries, mines, Historic California sites, and just short drive from the year round recreation that runs from Sly Park Lake, to Lake Tahoe, in sunshine or snowfall there is always a good time waiting for you in Placerville.
