A period, detached property in the North Yorkshire town of Settle, sleeping up to nine people in four bedrooms.Whitefriars Lodge is a stone house set in the town of Settle in North Yorkshire. It has four bedrooms made up of a second floor super king-size double (zip/link, can be twin on request) with en-suite shower, basin and WC, a second floor king-size double with en-suite shower, basin and WC, a first floor double with en-suite shower, basin and WC and a second floor family room with 3 single beds with en-suite shower, basin and WC. The rest of the lodge is made up of a first floor cloakroom with basin and WC, a first floor kitchen with breakfast table and chairs and a first floor siting room with dining area. To the outside there is off road parking for two cars and a private exterior area with furniture. Whitefriars Lodge is a fantastic base for exploring Settle and all that surrounds it at any time of the year.
Amenities: Gas central heating. Electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 4 cars with additional parking in neighbouring car park. Secure bike storage. Tree lined pathway leading to private exterior table and chairs. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 5 minute walk. Train station 5 mins walk. Note: Property accessed via external cast iron staircase, may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Note: Maximum of 9 people.
Region: From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?
Town: Settle lies south west of the Yorkshire Dales National Park in North Yorkshire. The market place is surrounded by local businesses, the centre has the Shambles, a 3-storey building with shops and houses, and the Town Hall. There is restaurants, pubs and a public swimming pool. The Settle-Carlisle Railway crosses upland scenery.
