RENTAL OVERVIEW:
Private Western chalet amongst the pinions overlooking Torrey. Patios surround spotless two bedrooms with kitchenette and a 3/4 bathroom. Tucked away in a central location near the intersection of "All American Highway" 12 and 24 gateway to the remote Capitol Reef and Grand Staircase. Plenty of parking including RVs.

DETAILED INFORMATION ABOUT STAYING AT TORREY PINES
RAILINGS:
Small children may be able to fit through the gaps of the upstairs railings, both inside and outside!!! Don’t leave small children alone or unwatched in the cabin!

TV:
There is a Roku TV in the loft bedroom. To watch live local Antenna channels press the Home button and select the square with an antenna illustration. Netflix is available and you may use our TorreyPinesGuest account. You can use our Amazon Prime account with HBO subscription also. All other apps/channels in the menu are not activated and appear on the menu only for guests who already subscribe to those services to use.
LOCAL INFO:
We are very close to a Visitor Information Center! It is at the Junction of Highways 12 and 24. If you’d like my recommendations on what hikes/drives to do, feel free to message me. The Capitol Reef National Park visitor center is 7 miles East on Highway 24.
DINING:
There are many great restaurants here. There are none which I would not recommend, but your host Jon owns 3 local restaurants open for dinner: The Rim Rock Restaurant, The Rim Rock Patio and The Pioneer Kitchen at Capitol Reef Resort. All of these are located on Highway 24 near Captiol Reef National Park, about 3 miles East from here. BREAKFAST is available at the Pioneer Kitchen at Capitol Reef Resort.
GROCERY:
The best selection nearby is at the Chuckwagon General Store. It is in the heart of Torrey and has flashing yellow lights. The nearest large grocery store is Royal’s Food Town in Loa, 25 miles West on Highway 24.
PHARMACY & CLINIC:
Prescription drugs are available at the local Clinic. The Wayne Community Health Center is in Bicknell, 10 miles West on Highway 24. As you enter Bicknell, turn left on the first street and drive 4 blocks. It is on the left at 128 S 300 W. Many over-the-counter medicines are available at the nearby convenience store or at the Chuckwagon.
LAUNDRY: There is a laundromat in Torrey at the Chuckwagon General Store.
COOKING:
Please do not do any cooking which produces a lot of smoke. There is no hood fan or vent for the stovetop. Your smoke alarm may go off! Microwave only glass and ceramic dishes.
ICE:
There is an ice tray in your mini fridge’s freezer. Large quantities of ice for coolers must be purchased at the nearby convenience store.
GARBAGE:
There is a large garbage can beside the back porch. Extra wastebasket liners are in the bottom right drawer in the kitchenette.
LEAVING:
Please leave by 11AM or sooner to allow cleaning time for the next guests. Put the keys back where you found them! One in the door lock, one on the hook just inside the front door. Please put any smelly garbage in the outside garbage can before you leave. Please wash your dishes before you leave.
