Description

A Canadian lodge located near North Kessock in the Scottish Highlands that can sleep four people in two bedrooms.Heron Lodge is a detached lodge located near North Kessock in the Scottish Highlands. It has two bedrooms comprising of a king size with an en-suite a twin room with zip link beds, there is also a family bathroom, the property can sleep four people. Also inside there is an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. To the outside there is a veranda with furniture, a barbecue and a hot tub. Heron Lodge is a high quality lodge in a great spot for a peaceful break in Scotland.

Amenities: LPG central heating, woodburning stove. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WIFI. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available. Off road parking for 2 cars. Veranda with furniture, BBQ and hot tub. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking in the cabin and the entire woodland site. Shop and pub 3 miles. Note: there is a £150 good house keeping bond attached to this property.

Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britain's best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Town: The village has a line of buildings along the shore, with a hillside behind them. The rest of Kessock is scattered over the hillside and through the woods. Beauly Firth is teeming with wildlife. Dolphins, Redshank, Oystercatcher, Ringed Plover, Dunlin, Curlew and Shelduck and the Common Seal can be seen. In North Kessock, a small marine Wildlife Research Base monitors dolphins and seals through sightings as well as underwater microphones. Pop in and have a listen!
