About our cottage

Dating back to around 1780, Bewerley Hall Cottage was the former home of the Head Gardener at Bewerley Hall. Today, we hope you’ll love what we’ve done to the place and the homely feel we’ve created just for you.

Stone steps lead you into the sitting room, where you’ll be welcomed by an exposed stone wall, a fabulous log burning stove situated in the Inglenook fireplace and local art gracing the walls. Cosy up on the sofas, watch a DVD on the flat screen TV, complete with BT Vision or snuggle up with a glass. There is Wi-Fi and private off street parking is available for two cars around the back of the cottage.

Take to the stairs and find yourself in a beautifully appointed romantic bedroom, complete with King Size bed dressed in Egyptian cotton white bed linen . Exposed stone walls, local art and wonderful views can be enjoyed from the window overlooking the village green and Yorkes Folly beyond.

Step into the en suite bathroom and relax in the freestanding slipper bath or walk in shower with toiletries from Heyland and Whittle and fluffy bath towels.

Outside there is a pretty courtyard at both the back and front of the cottage as well as a sun room if the weather should be a bit chilly.

Getting around

Some guests come and park their cars and walk all week. There is a bus every hour going to Harrogate but if you want to tour you will need a car.

Interaction with guest

We will send you the key code to gain access but if you prefer we are happy to come and meet you and show you around. We are always available on the phone if help is needed. Lots to do in Nidderdale with excellent local pubs , butchers and bakery. Famed for cycling with the Tour de France using Pateley Bridge as part of its route and now the UCI World Championships. Great walking country as well as well as being near to Harrogate for those who love sophisticated shopping.

How do damage deposits work?
