Description

The wing of Snape Castle in the North Yorkshire village of Snape, able to sleep four people in two bedrooms.Snape Castle, the Undercroft is the wing of this North Yorkshire village's castle. It comes with two bedrooms; a king-size with an en-suite and a twin room, there is also a family shower room, the property can sleep up to four people. Also inside you will find an open-plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. To the outside there is plenty of off road parking, gardens to the front and a courtyard with furniture to the rear. Snape Castle, the Undercroft is a characterful property in a wonderful Yorkshire location.

Amenities: Oil fired central heating. Electric underfloor downstairs heating, woodburning stove. Electric range, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Front gardens, rear courtyard with furniture. four well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 5 minute walk. Note: There are 6ft walls and gated entrance around the cottage so space for the dogs to roam. Note: The woodburning stove in the sitting area is not in use and for ornamental purposes only. Note: Sorry, no children below 10 years of age. Please note that check in for this property is 4pm.

Town: A village in between the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors National Parks. Snape is home to a gastropub and a 15th century castle. Nearby is Bedale, providing a amenities, a golf course and a museum. Thirsk offes fine architecture, as does Darlington 21 miles north, a large market town with a shopping centre. The two National Parks nearby are showcase views from walking and cycling paths.
