Description
If you want to get away from it all in a beautiful location and use it to explore the North of Skye and beyond then this is the place for you.
Cnoc Ard is situated in the village of Colbost in the North West of Skye. It is five miles from Dunvegan and positioned on a hillside, enjoying an uninterrupted view over Dunvegan Bay. The view is outstanding!
The house is modern and bright and sleeps four people in comfort.
It is situated on one level and consists of a hall leading to an open plan kitchen/dining room, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom. A combination of storage heaters and a wood burner makes it very warm and cosy if the weather outside takes a turn for the worse.
Close to the house there are attractions such as Dunvegan castle, Neist Point, the Coral Beach at Claigan, Skye Silver Jewellery etc. Other well known places of interest such as the Fairy Pools , Quiraing, Old Man of Storr and the town of Portree are all under an hours drive.
If you wish to eat out quality restaurants and other eating places are not far. The world renowned Three Chimney’s Restaurant is one mile away and there are many other Hotels and Inn’s just a short drive that serve up splendid food often in the most magnificent of locations.
