Description

The Coast of Maine House is a beautiful/fully restored 10 bedroom (26 bed) 6500 square foot 1856 brick ships captains mansion & carriage house ideally located 1/2 mile from the ocean. Our highly sought after property has three floors, five bathrooms, multiple fireplaces, 11 foot ceilings, three 50’ flatscreen TV’s and Wi-Fi. We are ideally located in Saco, 20 minutes south of Portland and 20 minutes north of Kennebunkport, 2 miles from three beaches and surrounded by churches, coffee shops, restaurants, yoga studios, a bike rental store and craft breweries. Our mansion has eight beautifully decorated bedrooms that are divided over three floors, two more in the adjacent carriage house and the final one on a one bedroom cabin. We have a extra large first floor great room with 20 seats, a 8 person second floor living room, a 18 person indoor dining room and seating for 3 in the kitchen. There is a lovely outdoor builtin private pool surrounded by three picnic tables with seating for 26 and adirondack chair seating for another 14. This is a beautifully maintained, recently restored historic property designed for respectful renters. We are well suited for family reunions, wedding parties (but not the wedding) etc...We have 4 parking spaces plus safe parking for thirty cars next door on school street. We are in Saco Maine also just 1/4 mile from the Saco Amtrak station traveling the coast of Maine and to Boston.

Getting around

We are ideally located in the village of Saco just a short walk from several coffee shops, the Saco River and three kraft breweries. We are also on ta beach trolley route and 1/4 mile from the popular bike route going along the Maine Coast. Feel free to use the 10 newer beach bikes to get to and from the beach.

Interaction with guest

The keys will be left on the kitchen table. I typically meet new groups upon arrival to provide a tour and answer questions.
