“Bang for buck! Perfect for all your la needs!” Location: Central, quiet, safe with premium shopping and dining options right at your fingertips!! Absolutely perfect if you have a car, central and easily accessible to the wonders of Los angeles! If you don't have a car, local transport is just as accessible. Cleanliness: faultless really. Neat and tidy but very cosy, little personal touches from Cassia makes you feel right at home! Communication/Service: Although I didn't have the pleasure to meet Cassia myself, we were warmly welcomed by John in her absence who was friendly and lovely to deal with. Cassia is proactive to meet any of your needs to make your stay just that little bit more special! Great local knowledge and very flexible to meet all our needs! The free wifi and parking was an added luxury. Would recommend to all! Thank you again for making our trip so memorable!

“Amazing!” My family stayed at this house for a week in July. It was great! The house was in a good location, less than a 10 min walk to the beautiful beach. Restaurants and coffee shops were in easy walking distance. The house was very well equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, tea, and spices. The TV and entertainment unit were amazing, very high tech but easy to use. There was a cute front yard and a nice little back yard with patio furniture and a BBQ. There were bikes to use as well. The owner was amazing! Very easy to get in contact with and very hospitable. He even provided us with a playpen for our son. If we are ever in Long Beach again we would definitely stay here.

“Found a new home...” Lois and I had all of March at the Seal Beach Guest House and from the moment we arrived it felt like we'd found a new home. It's a cozy, comfortable hideaway where you can see the ocean from the deck, hear it too when the waves are up, sit on the deck with a book or email friends with the wifi. We loved being able to walk everywhere - the down town and the pier are only 5 minutes walk. People are friendly, places to eat are good, there's even a barber who'll give a guy a shave with a blade and give you a beer at the same time...life is good in Seal Beach. Lois is retired and I've got a couple years to go but when the time comes we'd like to winter in Seal Beach. Our stay at the Seal Beach Guest House I can honestly say is probably the nicest vacation we've ever had.

About Redondo
The Chowignas were the first people to stay in the Redondo Beach area. They fished and used the salt from the salt flats to preserve their food.
In the late 19th century people from around California began vacationing on the coast and many settled in the Redondo Beach area. The town grew mainly because of the railroad and port. The development of the lumber trade ensured the port was always busy. Now there is only one lumber mill left standing and this has been converted to house the Cannery Row art studio. The first hotel, the Hotel Redondo, was built in 1889 and because of this, Redondo Beach soon became a desirable vacation destination.
