Description

Spacious, 4 bedroom Victorian home from home! Sleeps 8 + cot, comfortably - we also have a sofa bed in one of the downstairs lounges which sleeps another 2 if you need it. 300 yds from many gorgeous beaches & close to all amenities, in the beautiful seaside village of Rhosneigr - renowned for it’s abundance of exciting water sports!

Morfa Hill is nicely renovated & decorated, retaining many original features - period fireplaces, stripped wood floors and doors. This light and airy house offers lot’s of space for living, inside & out & a large, secure parking area for cars/boats to the rear.

There are 4 bedrooms, some have sea views in the distance. The large front bedroom has a lovely bay window overlooking the front garden and a view of the village clock. Travel cot available for use. The rear larger bedroom overlooks the garden and conservatory. This room has a flat screen Freeview TV to escape to. The bunk rooms are great for kids, but are still generous enough for adults to be comfortable too.

There’s a family bathroom with shower over a smaller size bath and a 2nd WC downstairs. We also have a utility room for storing equipment etc. There’s a washing machine and dishwasher too.

You’ll have a choice of 2 comfy lounges. The large front lounge has a bay window, 3 sofa's, flat screen TV with digital Freeview, DVD and even a Nintendo Wii and a selection of games - feel free to bring your own favourites!

The rear lounge has a pink corner sofa bed, a 2nd sofa and a stereo, CD player. Selection of books, games, etc. Double doors leading to the conservatory.

The large kitchen has been opened up & extended with a glass roofed conservatory. It includes all the equipment, crockery, etc, you’ll need. Also has a ceramic hob, electric, range style cooker & large fridge with 1/3 size freezer compartment above. The kitchen is a wonderful bright, sunny, open plan, cooking/dining/living area, for all the family to enjoy, with a large table around which to gather. Childs high chair also provided. Dishwasher and washing machine are in the utility room. There’s a sofa to sit & look out through the french doors, onto the large, south facing, fully enclosed, private patio & lawned garden.

All electricity and gas is included. No nasty meter charges!

Duvets, pillows, etc provided, just bring your sheets, covers and towels. Per night prices available minimum 2 night stay. Friday to Friday bookings during peak times(school holidays )but flexible start dates available at all other times.

Getting around

There is a train station at Rhosneigr but it is a fair walk from Morfa Hill. If you're fit, that won't be a problem! There are buses which travel via the village - so please check times before you travel or wi fi is available at the house. The bus stop is at the clock just down from the property. The ferry port is about 20 mins away at Holyhead if you fancy a trip to Ireland!

“Girls weekend away”

Loved this property. Great location, private parking and the interior was beautiful. Loved the colour scheme and attention to detail in the accessories. Very clean and will definitely return and recommend. Even managed to have drinks in the garden in October. Fab space and the owner is extremely helpful. Perfect.

Lovely house, well-equipped and very clean. A stones throw from fabulous Rhosneigr beach, and close to all amenities in the town. Off road parking and a lovely private back garden. Will definitely come again!

“Perfect pet friendly home from home”

We booked for Easter but cancelled due to Coronavirus we were able to cancel and rebook our holiday in August. The house is amazing, plenty of space, immaculately clean, just what was needed at this time, peace of mind. Location brilliant, comfy house, plenty of areas to sit, children spent the holiday in the ‘snug’ great utility and outside tap for rinsing beach off children. The owner Wil extremely helpful, children loved it as did we, wishing it wasn’t booked October half term, but will be booking again 2021.
