Gadlys Coastal Cottages is a family farmhouse and cottage combined into one large holiday home , in Church Bay Anglesey, just minutes walk from a beautiful beach, a large holiday property with underfloor heating to downstairs rooms, with a traditional log fire stove in an oak-beamed inglenook fireplace. It is furnished to a high standard with oak flooring and traditional ledge and brace oak doors. Perfect for a cosy, luxurious stay close to the beach in beautiful Anglesey, a fabulous area of Wales close to Snowdonia and ideal for walking, hiking, cycling, fishing, boating or just relaxing on our stunning beaches. This property is suitable for a large group of friends or family and equally ideal for corporate team building weekends, special birthdays or hen parties (by request only).Sitting room:Spacious and comfortably furnished with sofas, light oak flooring and impressive inglenook fireplace housing a traditional cast iron stove which burns both logs and coal. There is a wall-mounted flat screen Freeview LCD TV A hand made oak staircase leads to upstairs from this room. The walls are traditional lime plaster and have exposed stonework, the window cills are traditional welsh slate. This room has a cosy timeless appeal with an open aspect to the front, it's just the place to enjoy a roaring log fire. Second Sitting Room - a cosy room with log burning fire and seaviews. Freeview LCD TV and DVD and comfortable leather sofa. A lovely room just to relax in with patio doors overlooking the garden and onwards to the sea.Family room:A further reception room with light oak flooring, which can be used as a chill out zone for the kids, PS2 games console and TV. Ideal for larger families with older children giving them a space of their own.Kitchen:A large room again with light oak flooring, oak kitchen units, granite worksurfaces, dual fuel range cooker, dishwasher, microwave and usual small appliances. Crockery and cutlery are provided. Large sliding french windows offer views of the sea and small garden area. A large chunky oak and table and chairs to fit 14 people is the focal point for this kitchen. Coffee machine is Tassimo type.Kitchen 2 -Oak units and granite tops a smaller version of the main kitchen with electric cooker, second fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine complete with oak dining table and sea views. This is ideal for larger groups where someone always wants to get up early and make a cup of tea without waking everyone else up! This leads onto an enclosed garden area with lawn and garden furniture, great for children.Four en-suite (two downstairs, two upstairs) bedrooms and two further twin (1 downstairs and one upstairs) bedrooms which share a bathroom.5 bath or shower rooms in total one with spa bath, plus one extra toilet and washbasin.,so there's never any queue for the toilet which so often happens on holiday! Suitable for large groups, large families, sorry we don't take single gender groups of persons under 21.There are ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms to this property so it may be suitable for persons of restricted mobility, please ask for details. Outside there's a large patio with stone and granite table and an additional small patio with picnic table - there is a barbeque stand but we do not maintain this so it's suitable for holding disposable ones rather than using to BBQ directly on it. The gardens are lawned and there is ample parking for this property. Large families or groups of friends alike, will enjoy this property due to it's size and proximity to the beach.

Please note we make a charge of £26 per pet per stay and the number is limited to 2 unless you enquire first - you must state whether you are bringing pets - thank you.

Two charming gardens with patio IDEAL FOR AN EVENING BARBEQUE, fence and gate with stone steps to seating area beside a bubbling stream in one and fully fenced with large lawn for children in the other. There is plenty of outside space with this property, visitors are welcome to pick our apples in autumn and enjoy our large fields surrounding this property. Parking for four or more cars.

Dogs are allowed but must be notified in advance, charge of £25 per pet per stay. They should not be left unattended in the property and all dog mess in the garden should be cleared prior to departing as should dog hair inside.

All bins should be emptied and correct recycling into the containers at the front of the building on departure.

“Birthday celebration”

We booked this for a family get together for a special birthday. Every one of the party..and visitors..were very impressed with the accommodation and facilities. The property is well maintained to a very high standard and our party of 14 had plenty of room over the weekend. We had numerous rooms to spread out in so the children all had space to play. We even managed a sit down breakfast for all 14 in one sitting. The owner was very helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay. We will be recommending and hope to return in the future. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable weekend!

“Great House For Family or Friends Holiday”

We knew Church Bay from a previous holiday but needed larger accommodation this time. With 6/7 bedrooms this was ideal. Master bedroom has view to the sea. Plenty of en-suites and family bathrooms too. Well equipped kitchens and utility room. Short walk to the beach via s a footpath outside the gate. The Wavecrest café at the beach does good food and the Lobsterpot restaurant is renowned for seafood. All in all a good place for large groups.

“Perfect family retreat”

Had our annual weekend away with all the family (9 adults, 2 children for this one). This cottage was absolutely perfect, clean, large and a couple of minutes walk away from gorgeous beaches. Karen was quick to respond to any of my questions including the best places to eat locally. She also came to greet us and we were welcomed by a homemade cake. Some of the party are already picking dates to come back
