Description

This detached cottage is set four miles from Ruthin and sleeps two people.The Old Barn is a 200 year old barn conversion in a rural location, 1 mile from Llanferres, close to Ruthin in North Wales. This cottage sleeps two people in a mezzanine double bedroom with en-suite shower room. The rest of the cottage consists of a kitchen with sitting area and a conservatory with dining area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed rear patio with furniture and barbecue. The Old Barn is an ideal romantic retreat with the Offa's Dyke trail within walking distance and Moel Famau, Ruthin and Mold close by.

Amenities: Oil central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer. freezer in utility, 2 x TVs with FreeSat, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books and CDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Bike storage. Enclosed, rear patio with furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.5 miles.

Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Town: The town of Ruthin is situated to the north of Llangollen via the breathtaking Horseshoe Pass in North Wales. The town offers half-timbered buildings, shops, Ruthin Gaol and Ruthin Craft Centre.

Just returned from this lovely cottage. So small but so well laid out. It is lovely. In the middle of nowhere and a long way from anywhere of interest but a walkers and dogs paradise
