This 3 Star award winning self-catering family run cottage is located in the beautiful Victorian seaside resort of Saltburn By The Sea, but with the added advantage of being adjacent to countryside.

Jasmine Cottage is an excellent base for those who enjoy the outdoors, and within a short walking distance you can be on the beautiful unspoiled beach.

The small town centre offers a good selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Saltburn By The Sea has a good community infrastructure, and regular events held within locations such as the Valley Gardens, Beach, Community Centre and Esplanade, can be extremely entertaining.

Within a five minute walk from Jasmine Cottage, the railway station provides regular services to the neighbouring seaside resort of Redcar, and onto Middlesbrough and Darlington which both offer excellent shopping facilities and rail links to other interesting locations such as York and Whitby.

Jasmine Cottage is well equipped with all of the modern conveniences you would expect to make your stay pleasant. The well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and externally, the gardens, are designed for your enjoyment.

The Beach is only ten minutes walking distance from the cottage, and it is becoming a popular centre for surfing. Local boat fishermen can often be found selling their freshly caught fish, crabs and lobsters straight from the boat, and for anybody wanting to try a hand at fishing, the recently restored Saltburn Pier is an excellent vantage point to cast away.

If you want to make Jasmine Cottage a base for daily outings then you are well placed for coastal and country locations such as historic Whitby, Pickering and York, and of course there's the famous North Yorkshire Moors along with its many quaint and charming villages, and of course the delightful Heartbeat Country.

I booked this for my sister. She said it was really lovely & relaxing. Very clean, everything she needed, lovely comfy bed & Ian the host was perfect I spent the last night at the cottage & totally agree. Would definitely stay here again

“Another lovely stay”

We had another lovely stay at Jasmine Cottage. As it was Xmas week the owners decorated the living room with festive decorations and Xmas tree and they also left us Xmas gifts. The cottage was spotless and homely and ideally situated for shops,restaurants and beach. My wife left some of her belongings and the owners kindly posted them to us. Thanks a lot Ian & Vanessa.

“Excellent accomodation”
