NEAR ALL THE FUN!!! Only 3 miles to downtown & Riverwalk and only 5 miles to the airport! This 1930'S two bedroom stone charm (spacious, 1300sqft) is located in a historic neighborhood nestled in the City Center slightly north of downtown.

Recent description from one of our guests "The beds are so comfortable and it is so much more than the photos show; it is so nice to wake up in the mornings to sounds of birds chirping".

This desirable neighborhood and central location is perfect to enjoy both local and touristy venues. The neighborhood is generally quiet but on occasion music from Trinity, the Sunken Gardens or other San Antonio festivities may be heard at a distance. In close proximity to farmers markets. Local and unique shops nearby. Tasty restaurants within walking distance. Dinner and music venues both casual and sophisticated nearby. Restaurants, shops, Trinity U. within walking distance. Only 3 miles to Dtwn/River Walk, Quarry, Pearl and King Williams district. Wifi is now available on the property.

NOTE: THIS UNIT DOES HAVE A GAS STOVE RANGE FOR COOKING (antique tappan stove), HOWEVER, THERE IS NO OVEN AVAILABLE FOR USE. Additional kitchen appliances available are a microwave, toaster, crockpot, coffee maker, washer-dryer and refrigerator.

This is a charming old world place that comes with OLD PLUMBING so do NOT throw away any TOILET PAPER, feminine products or other in commode Nor food/food particles or grease in sinks, please use trash bins.

Guests/renters must take SPECIAL CARE of bath tub as it has been recently re-surfaced for guest enjoyment. Guests can bathe and shower, however, must not use objects that may scratch or scrape the delicate surface. Guests must never use abrasive cleaners, bath mats (may use adhesive strips instead) or let soap or shampoo bottles stand on bathtub surface for longer periods than it takes to bathe/shower. Guests must not use dyes in bathtub nor any chemicals or drain opening solutions.

No access/ use of backyard permitted other than to park, throw trash and recyclables in bins. BALCONY NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE - No access/ use of Balcony permitted.

Parking on site for 1 small to medium vehicle with the exception of instances when construction or restoration work is being done on property; street parking for larger vehicles.

The entire place has hardwood floors, so guests upstairs will need to be mindful to minimize walking noise as possible so as not to disturb guests downstairs with loud or excessive creaking from walking or movement upstairs.

Property is privately owned; the owner/s are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on premises or its facilities. The Homeowner/s are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. Reservation/s obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of full payment and deposit and the party will not be allowed to check in. All damages to the property will be paid in full by renter/guest.

Getting around

Walking distance to Trinity University, only 3 miles to downtown/riverwalk, short drive to Zoo, Quarry Market, Pearl Brewery, Fort Sam and more. Easy highway access to 281 and IH-10 for travel to Sea World and Fiesta Texas. Because the property is close to the convention center and downtown, many of our guests do not rent a car, they take an Uber instead. However, if you will visit Fiesta Texas or Sea World, then a car is recommended.
