Situated on the outskirts of Saundersfoot, Vanderhoof Way occupies a peaceful position away from the hustle and bustle of the centre of the village whilst still being just a 5-10 minute walk from Saundersfoot’s award winning beach and picturesque harbour, from where regular fishing and boat trips depart in the summer. Saundersfoot village boasts many delightful beach front cafés and shops, restaurants and traditional pubs. The 186 mile Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes right through Saundersfoot village and, during low tide, much of the coast path can be walked along the beach. There are many activities and attractions nearby including Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park and Heatherton World of Activities and the historic sea-side town of Tenby is just a short drive away.
This well-presented self-catering holiday cottage in Saundersfoot enters into the hallway which leads through to the kitchen and dining room on one side and the lounge on the other. The spacious lounge provides comfortable sofa seating for 5 people with FreeView TV and DVD. The well equipped kitchen benefits from electric cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave. A door leads out from the kitchen to the rear of the property where there is a partially enclosed garden.
There are three bedrooms; one twin with whb, one single and the master bedroom with whb. The bathroom comprises bath with shower over, whb and wc.
To the front of the property there is a small garden area and patio with garden furniture. The property further benefits from parking for 2 cars, central heating, Freeview TV, Wifi and DVD. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. This is a non-smoking property.

“Nice, comfy bungalow”

“Good solid warm bungalow”
This three bedroom bungalow gave us all we could need, good access to town with a bit of an incline to keep us fit. Dog friendly, warm and a good size. You can argue the décor is dated but clean, warm and location were our priority.

“Great Value, lovely cottage”
Stayed at Hedffan last month for a last minute get away! What great value for money and so close to the village centre. The house is on a private cul de sac, well equipped and clean. We were able to bring Duke (our dog) and the garden was enclosed and safe for him so a paws up from him also! If you are looking for a great bungalow that sleeps 5 and a dog then look no further. Vicki at Puffin Cottage Holidays was also a pleasure to deal with.

Response from the manager Hello, thank you for your review - we appreciate feedback both good and bad however we do not feel this is gives a fair picture of this property. We are pleased that you were happy with our cleaning as we pride ourselves on having high standards of cleaning. We have never had any complaints regarding the beds before - I do feel that mattress preference is a matter of personal opinion but we are keeping an eye on the matter and have received no further negative feedback with regards to this. Our main issue with your review is your opinion that the cottage was damp - it is not. We live in an area where a little dampness in properties is fairly common due to the sea air and this is therefore an issue we keep a look out for and keep on top of. The property was thoroughly checked after your stay and there was no sign of dampness either in smell or by sight. The property is decorated annually and the general maintainance of the property is very good. I'm not sure what your issue is with plug in air fresheners but we have now removed them anyway. The road you refer to as being tight is the private road for the cul de sac and there is no need to park on the road as there is ample parking for two cars on the driveway. We have many guests who stay in our property year after year and we feel that it offers excellent value for money in a convenient location in Saundersfoot

“Brilliant Holiday in Saundersfoot”
We enjoyed a stay in this bungalow last summer. We found it to be great value for money as the location was good for us - close enough to walk to the beach and shops but far enough out to be peaceful enough. It was clean and spacious and we have already booked for next year. Thankyou
