Description
Based in Barnoldswick, On the Lancashire & Yorkshire border Cobble Cottage is a great starting point to explore the Red and White Rose counties. The market town of Skipton with its' medieval castle , The Yorkshire Dales ,Clitheroe and the Ribble Valley are all only a short journey.
The cottage is 50 yards from route 1 of the well known Pendle way walk which takes in some splendid scenery, including Pendle Hill - home of the Pendle Witches legend.
On your doorstep there are some great local walks including the Weets Hill and the Leeds and Liverpool canal which provide the backdrop to some lovely countryside views.
After a day walking or exploring, the local pub is only yards away and the town centre is only 5 minutes walk and offers a selection of Delis,Restaurants,Pubs and a Supermarket.

“No return”
Would not recommend this place, better options are out there just don’t leave looking too late. No parking, no view and no outside space. Noisy beer garden across from your windows. Wasn’t the cleanest place either, the washing machine was stinking so we couldn’t use it. Cups all stained, washed 2 thoroughly and used these all the time we were there , teapot also all stained & dirty, Plus points were the neighbours and locals we met were nice. We spent our days visiting all over Yorkshire & eating out

“Cosy, clean, comfortable cottage”
I stayed in Cobble Cottage for three nights and could not have been happier. The cottage has everything you need if you are looking for a base to get out into the Dales. It was nice and warm when I arrived, the kitchen had everything I needed to cook for myself, the bed was super comfortable. Gary and Abbie were super helpful and quick to answer any questions. I dropped all my stuff off and then re-parked on the road (it's only a few yards away). All in all, it was very convenient and I would highly recommend it.

“Comfortable say in cottage with character!”
We had a most comfortable stay in a lovely little cottage with plenty of history and character. The property had everything we required or needed. Everyone around and about was very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this property and thank the owners for a most pleasant stay.
