Description

A charming, end-terrace cottage on the owner's working farm, near Skipton, sleeping six people in three bedrooms.Katy's Cottage is a stone-built, country cottage, forming part of a group of four holiday properties on the owner's working livestock farm, a few miles from Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales. With three bedrooms, each with TVs and en-suite facilities, up to six people can stay. There's also a ground floor basin and WC, a kitchen with dining area and a sun room and there is a sitting room with an open fire. Outside, there is a front, enclosed private patio garden with furniture and BBQ along with a shared clubhouse with pool table, darts, toilets and two showers. Katy's Cottage is a delightful holiday home for a Yorkshire break, with walks from the door.

Amenities: Electric central heating with open fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 4 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Logs for fire on honesty box basis. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off road parking for 3 cars. Front enclosed private patio garden with furniture and BBQ. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops and pubs 1 mile. Note: There is a small campsite on the farm approx 250 yards from the cottage. Note: Due to the property being set on a working farm, please ensure dogs are kept on a lead when outside (can be off leads in private garden). Note: Walls around garden but cottage next to a canal, children to be supervised at all times. Note: Road noise can be heard when sat in garden.

Region: From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?

Town: Skipton is known as The Gateway to the Dales. The town is home to a high street with lively market, many tea rooms and an ancient castle, plus canal trips can be enjoyed or visit Embsay Steam Railway, which is just one mile away.
