Description from owner

Description

An Acail is a barn conversion (2014).

The cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms and one bathroom with spa bath.

Currently, electric vehicle charging is not allowed at the cottage.

An Acail, originally an agricultural barn, is a converted (2014) self catering holiday cottage owned and run by Iain and Jeanne.

The cottage is on the outskirts of Stornoway town centre and is perfectly located for exploring the Islands of Lewis and Harris. The Islands boast beautiful beaches, many historical sites, and there are numerous walks. Ranging from simple strolls to more adventurous rambles and hill climbs.

The accommodation is on two levels. The lower level has the master bedroom with a super-king size bed to give you a great nights sleep. The spacious, en-suite, bathroom has a water fall power shower with jets, a spa bath and built in television. Just the thing for relaxing after a day exploring the islands, fishing or walking in the hills.

We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible and have included comfortable seating in the large open plan living area and dining table and chairs. This area has a large bay window and French doors to access a patio area with picnic table. There is also an outbuilding, which houses the laundry facilities and has room for storing bikes or drying wet suits.

There are two twin bedrooms up the stairs both with en-suite shower room.

An Acail is a warm cosy house with oil central heating which can be fully controlled by you. We provide all bed linen and towels and a small welcome pack to help you settle in on your first night.
