Welcome to 3 Sail Loft! A laid back boutique townhouse in Stornoway's bustling inner harbour. This renovated Grade A listed building offers original features, charm and character whilst providing all mod cons for a relaxing and comfortable retreat.

Cosy yet spacious, 3 Sail Loft offers 2 bedroom accommodation, over 3 floors. With a fully and thoughtfully equipped kitchen and complimentary welcome hamper of local goodies, you will be spoilt for choice as to whether to eat in or head out to sample one of the many local eateries within walking distance.

For those days when the weather is not enticing you onto one of the breathtaking beaches, the large comfy sofa is the ideal place to cosy up with the aray of local books, games and DVD's provided. Put your feet up and make the most of the fire and watch the fishing boats and yachts come and go around you. The large loft-style bedroom on the top floor has a kingsize bed and french windows over-looking the castle grounds. The en-suite bathroom has a full length bath and shower, with heated towel rail and skylight. Bath robes are offered for the full pampering experience!

The second bedroom offers a double bed, with built in wardrobe and views to the castle. The bathroom on the ground floor has a large shower, heated towel rail and under floor heating.

Situated in the heart of the town, a stone's throw from the ferry terminal and a 5 minute drive from the airport, it is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful islands of Lewis & Harris.

House rules

We welcome families (we have 2 small people of our own!) However, we would say, as there 2 flights of stairs, no garden and are in close proximity to water it is not ideal for very young children and as such do not provide stairgates, high chairs etc. Please get in touch with any queries.

The house was fantastic. Clean, good beds, full of kitchen equipment. Nice welcome! Enough space. The only thing we missed was a garden.

How do damage deposits work?

If Melissa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
