Description
Shiantview is a 4 Star Visit Scotland rated self catering holiday cottage offering families and couples a very comfortable and peaceful stay in tranquil surroundings.
Accommodation comprises of Kitchen/Dining area, Living Room, fitted Bathroom with separate walk in shower enclosure, Second Toilet/Sink Unit, Utility Room and Master Bedroom on the ground floor. Upstairs there are two large Bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. All bedrooms have portable TV's with Free-sat/Freeview installed.
The Kitchen is fully equipped with fitted units. An oil fired combination boiler supplies domestic water and central heating. Additionally, we provide an Electric Ceramic Cooker with fan assisted oven, Dishwasher, Microwave Oven, Slow Cooker, Refridgerator and Colour TV/VCR unit with Free-sat.
The Utility Room is equipped with a Washine Machine, Tumble Dryer, Freezer Unit, Sink with H & C supply and Clothes Ironing facilities.
The Sitting Room has a wall mounted Flatscreen TV complete with Free-sat, VCR/DVD unit, Hi-Fi unit with CD player, along with a good library of DVD's and books. A Hair Dryer is also provided.
A starter food pack is provided. Soap, washing-up liquid, toilet tissues are included in the tariff. We even cater for all the other little extras you may require during your stay with us like salt and pepper, cooking oil, kitchen roll, cling film and tin foil. Guests are offered a bottle of wine. Garden comes complete with table, chairs and gas BBQ. We are pet friendly with a Max of 2 pets - BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT. Free unlimited W-Fi access. We can provide 2 sets of golf clubs if requested, free of charge.
If a central location is more to your liking then why not consider staying at 'An Airigh' in Stornoway (also advertised with Tripadvisor)

“A view with a view”

“Excellent Family Break in October”
This house is a great find off the beaten track on Lewis. 3 generations of my family really enjoyed our get away in this beautiful spot. The house is immaculate and well set up for visitors, Isobel and Kenneth warmly welcomed us and gave us 'the lay of the land', then we sat back and enjoyed the stunning view. The house is well equipped with all you could need to cook and play (games and stories for kids). The hosts thought of our every need kindly leaving a starter pack of food and even a bottle of wine which was very much enjoyed. We hope to be back one day.

“Great Cottage in an amazing setting”
Really impressed with the way Isobel and Ken were waiting for us with a starter pack of food and a bottle of wine and flowers. Ecellant cottage, very well equipped. We wanted to be a bit remote and the little hamlet overlooking the Loch was lovely. Some good walks from lots of information in the cottage. We spent hours just sitting on the bench overlooking the Lock watching the birds and boats. Excellent holiday would stay again if we are on Lewis in the future

“Absolutely perfect”
Cottage is set in a remote area, which suits us as we wanted to get away from everything for a short while. You wake up to truly stunning views over the sea loch. Ken & Isobel (the owners) could not be more helpful, we arrived late in the evening and they met us off the ferry and we followed them to the cottage. They helped us settle in and had even left a starter pack of food (bread, milk,bacon sausages & eggs) a welcome bottle of wine & tin of shortbread. The cottage itself is stunning, lots of room, a large laundry room, good heating, free WiFi, it’s got the lot!! We would highly recommend Shiantview to anyone. Would certainly come again. 5 stars aren’t enough.

“Perfect quiet location with vistas to die for and everything necessary for an enjoyable stay.”
The location is very quiet and the cottage enjoys excellent views out towards the Shiant Islands and then to the Isle of Skye beyond. The cottage affords good accommodation and is fitted to an excellent standard with everything which you might need to facilitate an enjoyable stay. The cottage is away from it all and there is wildlife and some great walks in the area.
