This white wooden cottage is in the village of Strathpeffer in Ross and Cromarty in Highland Scotland and can sleep two people in one bedroom.This 'postcard pretty' white wooden cottage occupies a quiet and private setting in the grounds of Holly Lodge where the owner resides in Strathpeffer in the Scottish Highlands. The house can sleep two people in one king size double bedroom with en-suite shower, basin and WC. There is a kitchen, a sitting room with a dining room and sofa bed. Outside there is a decked terrace with furniture and off road parking for one car. One well behaved dog is welcome. Holly Cottage is perfect for a couple looking to visit the pleasant spa village of Strathpeffer.

Amenities: Electric night storage heaters. Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Decked terrace to front with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pubs 5 mins walk. Note: Property accessed via stone steps.

Region: From the lush green farmlands of the Borders to the ruggedness of the Highlands, the Scots are proud of their land and identity. Scotland also has some of Britains best beaches with glorious stretches of clean sand over which to roam.

Town: Strathpeffer Spa Pavilion has been restored after a period of disuse and now serves as a venue for a variety of events, including concerts, dances, dramas and exhibitions. The former Victorian railway station, which in times past brought many visitors from near and far, has now been restored to house craft workers and their shops, and is also home to the Highland Museum of Childhood. Visit the restored Pump house, take a walk along a forest track, or enjoy the views from the nearby pictish hill fort at Knockfarrel. Whatever you decide there's plenty on offer for all the family.
