Description
Hillcrest Barn is located in the quiet village of Reynalton, set overlooking fantastic rural views. Central to the main leisure complexes of south Pembrokeshire. A short distance from Oakwood, Blue Lagoon, Folly Farm and Heatherton. The spectacular beaches of Tenby, Saundersfoot are within 5 miles and Barafundle bay within 11 miles. There is easy access to Pembrokeshire’s footpaths, bridleways and breath taking coastal paths.
Hillcrest Barn is set on a 12-acre smallholding currently kept as hay meadows with a wealth of wildlife, which in the early 1900’s ran the narrow-gauge steam engine, the “Bull Dog”, taking coal to Saundersfoot harbour, which the route can still be tracked today.
The accommodation, from a dedicated parking space, up a path to a large patio area overlooking magnificent views and large lawn area leading to the meadows. Enter through stable doors into the open planned lounge, kitchen/dining area. This leads off to the family bathroom and master bedroom with patio doors, leading onto the patio area. The staircase leading you upstairs to two single beds with stunning views through the velux window overlooking the surrounding fields. The barn is a wonderful holiday home for families and couples seeking a comfortable break away in a thoughtfully designed, well-equipped accommodation.

“Just perfect”
Peaceful and tranquil location for a relaxing holiday, lovely views of the countryside. The cottage is very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The coastal resorts of Tenby and Saundersfoot are nearby and is a pleasant drive. David, the owner was an excellent host. This was our first visit and we will definitely return.

“A perfect base”
We had a lovely break. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The stairgate was a welcome addition. The children loved kicking a football around the large garden and having the freedom to safely explore the adjoining field. The views were great. A lovely peaceful spot not too far from the A477 making it an ideal base. Tenby and Manorbier castle/beach were well worth a visit.

“Just Perfect!”
We stayed at Hillcrest Barn over the October Half Term break. We have stayed in many places in West Wales but this property is by far the best. It is a beautiful barn renovated to a high standard the attention to detail and decor is simply stunning. It has everything you need and is well equipped. The adjoining fields are perfect, especially if you have a dog! Our dog Jasper had a fantastic time and it was lovely to watch him play so freely. Our 2 teenagers loved it too! The views from the cottage are stunning and at night you can see every star in the sky. The barn is just a a short drive from Saundersfoot, Tenby, Carew Castle, Bluestone, Oakwood and Folly Farm. David the owner is such a lovely Gentleman- as are his family. He was extremely accommodating and nothing was too much trouble- as we were packing up the car to go home Jasper escaped into their house - I think he wanted to stay! He is actually quite aggrieved that we are home! Thank you so much for such a relaxing holiday. We had a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Jo, Matthew, Ben, Josie and Jasper

“Fantastic getaway”
We arrived on Sunday afternoon with our little girl and were met with a warm welcome by the barn owner David. The barn itself is delightful, all carefully thought out and well finished with some wonderful beams in the ceiling. The kitchen/breakfast room/ lounge is warm and cosy with far reaching views from the big windows which open out on to the courtyard and then fields which our littlun was keen to explore. The bedrooms are comfortable and a good size with plenty of storage space. The under floor heating in the bathroom/ wet room was a real treat!! The location is perfect for getting around the area and there is a good variety of local cafe's and pubs/ restaurants nearby. We will definately be looking to return next year.
