Description

This semi-detached barn conversion situated near Thirsk sleeps six people in three bedrooms.The Granary is a semi-detached barn conversion on a working livestock farm, situated on the edge of the village of Sutton-Under-Whitestonecliffe, four miles from Thirsk. This cottage sleeps six people in three bedrooms, consisting of one ground floor double, another double on the first floor and a twin. The cottage also has a ground floor shower room, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and an enclosed, communal gravelled courtyard with furniture. The Granary is a lovely family-friendly holiday home and there are plenty of things to see and do in the area, including walks, market towns and wonderful countryside that lies within the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: The town of Thirsk is the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park to the west and the North York Moors National Park to the east. The town offers a quaint market place, Georgian buildings, a Norman church, shops, pubs, restaurants, a cinema, a leisure centre and the World of James Herriott Museum.

The facilities were excellent, the location was great for exploring North Yorkshire and the coast and the owners very friendly. Will definitely book this cottage again.

Excellent accommodating owners and very friendly,plenty of room,well fitted out. Could not fault area or position for visiting,close to many places in Yorkshire. Would give them 10 out of 10.
