Ben View, in the hamlet of Inveralligin is a spacious detached home occupying a stunning loch side location. A large walled garden backs straight onto the shores of Upper Loch Torridon and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains can be appreciated from throughout the house and garden.The house has 5 bedrooms (1 king, 2 doubles, 2 twin), a large living room, sun room, a spacious dining kitchen and a separate dining room to easily seat 10. It is an ideal base for nature lovers, mountaineers, families or groups of friends.A double and twin bedroom (with family bathroom) are all located on the ground floor, providing easier access for those with restricted mobility. Herons, Otters, and Pine Martens are all regularly spotted from the property and there is an abundance of hiking, mountain biking, fishing and climbing within walking distance of the house. Kayaks can be launched from the other side of the garden wall and boats can be launched nearby for diving and fishing in the loch.Children will be entertained for hours with the large grassy garden, paddling in the stream, and shell hunting on the beach. There is a small DVD collection, large library and family board games for rainy days. Toys to keep young children entertained.Off street parking for 4 cars. Storage is available for outdoor equipment such as bikes and kayaks.Large outdoor table and Croquet set for fun games on the lawn.After a long day exploring the hills and loch, relax in the comfortable living room with roaring log fire or have a glass of wine in the sunroom, enjoying the panoramic loch and mountain views.Within easy drive is Torridon village, the Beinn Eighe nature reserve, Applecross Peninsula, Gairloch, Shieldaig, Inverewe gardens and Ullapool, Loch Ewe, Isle of Skye.

We only accept one well behaved adult dog per booking. No other animals allowed. Thank you.

“Awesome location, excellent house to stay”

This wonderful house is a fantastic base from which to explore the area, but also a peaceful spot in which to just sit and look out at the shore, the loch and the mountains. Very well equipped, clean, warm and comfortable. Highly recommend.

“Stunning”

The house and location were perfect. Amazing scenery even in the rain. We enjoyed local walks. A ladder from our garden took us onto the Beach for collecting shells. Stream beside for paddling and climbing over the rocks. Kids had great fun. Spa bath in house lovely after a rainy walk. Lovely sun room to sit in and enjoy the views. House had everything we needed. Lots of games for adults and kids. My son enjoyed playing the piano .
