Description

The Bothy is a super cute 2-level chocolate box cottage with:

Wood-fired hot tub & yoga deck with amazing views exclusively for you

Luxury heated spa-like bathroom on the lower level

Centrally heated living space, super comfy kingsize bed & kitchenette on the upper level

Private BBQ area & covered outdoor lounge with log burner with panoramic views

Local pub just a short walk across the fields...craft beers and own gin distillery!

Our Bothy is definitely a special place for a romantic weekend away, a marvellous spot to chill out, a great location if you are having an active weekend (some of the best cycling and walking in the area, and of course all the great North Wales adrenaline focused attractions like Zip World and Surf Snowdonia).

And sitting under the stars in your own wood-fired hot tub is not to be missed (for your use only!)...Firewood for the firepit and the hot tub is purchased on-site, option to have tub pre-heated.

The luxurious spa bathroom on the lower level is unique – black slab tiles/stone walls with freestanding bath and even an open fire grate and lots of candles – very atmospheric! There is no internal stairway between the upper and lower levels, but we supply bathrobes so you can comfortably wander the short path (20m) connecting the bathroom, bedroom and garden area.

The Bothy is set in the grounds of Cae Gwyn, a lovely Georgian country home and offers so much:

sit under the gazebo and drink in the view of the beautiful surrounding hills

relax with a glass of wine at the picnic table while you prep your BBQ and

cuddle up

or recline in the bath & read a book while your partner stokes up the hot tub

Short walk to local pub across the fields...excellent restaurants in the local area!

We have even included a kitchenette for cooking and late night hot chocolate! (mini fridge, hotplate, microwave, kettle...and all the usual accessories).

Why not book now and treat yourself to a few days relaxing, soaking, reading or stream a movie - we are only 1 hours drive from Liverpool/Manchester and 30min from Chester.

Email us to find out about our guest information booklet which includes the best local restaurants, fun things to do, special sights only locals know about....and even the gorgeous beach dedicated to St Dwynwen, the Welsh patron saint of lovers (voted by Conde Nast as one of the best beaches in Britain!).

Please note: To ensure best quality, only firewood sold by us may be used for the hot tub. A load costs approx £15 and will give you an evenings heavenly soaking in the tub. We include kindling, firelighters and even delicious teatree essential oil too! We also offer a tub pre-heat service! There is a one-off tub usage charge of £5 for your whole stay. There is a one-off BBQ usage charge of £5 for your whole stay. Wood for the log burner/firepit (with marshmallows & toasting sticks!) is £12 per basket.

Also available at the same location, our luxury retreat for 2 with own hot tub, and Zen sauna with private lounge, see The Hideaway ref 7647226

North Wales is served by major UK train routes and has an extensive road network including some of Britain's most scenic routes and for those who love a challenging drive, some stunning open roads (including the infamous Evo Triangle). Best of all we are just 2.4 miles from the A 55 so access to all that Denbighshire and North Wales has to offer is easily accessible, whether it be the mountains of Snowdon National Park, the wild coastline, historical sites or the ancient walled City of Chester.

Interaction with guest

We would be very happy to chat with you about all the great foodie places, walks, sights, adventures & beaches nearby. Or just email us to receive our guest information booklet which includes the best local restaurants, fun things to do, special sights only locals know about (and even the gorgeous beach dedicated to St Dwynwen, the Welsh patron saint of lovers, voted by Conde Nast as one of the best beaches in Britain!).
