Description

The Space

This condo has been newly furnished and is used exclusively for short-term rentals. It is the bottom floor of a two family brick house, at the end of a cul de sac, minutes from the highway and public transportation.

There are four bedrooms, two with queen size beds, one with two twin beds, and one with a full pull-out sofa bed. The bathroom tub and shower was newly renovated last year with Newpro and the floors were recently refinished.

Getting around

BOSTON: CAR: You can drive into Boston within 10 -15 minutes depending on the time of day. EXPRESS BUS: The express bus to Boston is a quick 2-3 minute walk away. Once on the bus, it's about a 15 minute ride into the city. I have a Charlie Card available to guests (hanging on the fridge). With the Charlie Card it would cost $4.00/person for a ride into the city. UBER: $15 - $20 Uber ride into the city (subject to change depending on time of day). COMMUTER RAIL: There is a commuter rail stop (Newtonville) that is a 1/4 mile walk up the road. People take this to Yawkey Station to see a Red Sox Game at Fenway. The Newtonville stop is in Zone 1 and costs $6.25 when tickets are purchased ahead of time.

Interaction with guest

My family and I live upstairs. You have a keyless entry to the front door, so there is no need to schedule a time to check in. If you have any questions or problems, my husband and I are available. Most guests enjoy a more hands-off approach to their stay, but if you are someone who would like to be shown around the apartment please let me know and I would be more than happy to help out. Other than sometimes hearing my children around the yard, this is a very private condo on a quiet street.

We do allow one calm, quiet dog to stay in the apartment. The dog must be put in a kennel if left alone in the apartment to ensure no damage will be done in the absence of the owner. There is an extra $50 cleaning charge that will be applied to your stay. No cats are allowed due to allergies.

How do damage deposits work?
