Description
This delightful Shepherds Hut is located on our small holding at Meadowbeck Holiday Cottages and enjoys wonderful sea and countryside views. Set in a peaceful location within the North Yorkshire Moors, yet within easy reach of Robin Hoods Bay, Whitby, Sandsend, Ravenscar and Scarborough. Beautiful coastal and moorland walks on the doorstep, along with fabulous dark skies for star gazing.
The Shepherds Hut provides a comfortable retreat for 2 and is ideally located for exploring the coast and inland villages. The hut is clad in Larch and fully insulated - the interior is countryside chic and provides an inviting double bed to snuggle in and a log burning stove for cozy nights in. The Hut has electricity, hot/cold water and is fully equipped with a flat screen TV, Belfast Sink, 2 ring Mini Stove with electric grill, Mini fridge, Fold away dining table and 2 comfortable chairs.
Outside: Private toilet and Shower Facility attached to the rear of the Shepherds Hut (please note this is accessed outside of the hut). There is also a private fenced garden area.
Just 10 metres walk from the hut is a guest games room with Pool Table, Bar Football, Darts Board, Flat screen TV, Free WiFi and comfortable seating for relaxing. Within the utility area is a microwave, washing machine, ironing board and iron.
For anyone wishing to experience staying in a Shepherds Hut with all mod cons - this is a real treat and can be a new adventure, romantic getaway, peaceful retreat or anything you want it to be.

Dogs - Strictly by prior arrangement with the Owners - Dogs will be considered on request and an additional fee is payable.
Guests should be aware that the hut has a log burning stove for heating, in a confined area (should you wish to use it). Please note - IT IS NOT SUITABLE ACCOMMODATION FOR YOUNG CHILDREN and whilst we do not exclude children, we advise a minimum age of 11 and it is the guests decision and responsibility when booking the accommodation.
The double bed will have a clean mattress protector but no bedding. Guests are requested to bring along their own bedding & towels. If you are unable to bring along your own bedding, please advise on booking & we can provide for an additional cost - which can be paid cash on arrival.

Response from the owner Thank you for your lovely review and we are pleased to hear that you enjoyed our location and found the Shepherds Hut comfortable - especially the bed. Our apologies regarding the torch - we do leave one in the hut, hung up behind the door. They regularly go missing but we do replace and we're sorry if this was not the case during your stay. We did try an electric kettle but it was left on top of the hot plate and had the bottom burnt out, so we thought it safer to stick with the whistling kettle. There is an electric kettle in the Utility Barn/Games Room, for guests to use. It is the first time we have had a toaster suggested, as there is a grill in the mini oven,but it is a good idea and we will look to provide one. Thank you again for your feedback, it is appreciated.
