This contemporary, semi-detached cottage is located in the seaside town of Whitby, and sleeps 5 people in 2 bedrooms.Cairns Cottage is a delightful semi-detached cottage located alongside the harbour in the town of Whitby, North Yorkshire Moors and coast. With two bedrooms, including one king-size double and one twin with an additional pull-out stacker bed, this cottage can sleep five people. The rest of the cottage includes a bathroom, a cloakroom, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room. Outside there is roadside parking availableon a first come, first served basis, and an enclosed courtyard garden. Cairns Cottage is ideally-situated to enjoy all of the delights of this fantastic seaside town, and the surrounding beauty of the North York Moors National Park.

Amenities: Gas central heating. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, iPod dock, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and booster seat. Roadside parking on first come, first served basis. Two well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Beach 5 mins walk. Note: This property is accessed by several steps down, or 40 steps up. Please note the changeover day for short breaks is a Friday or a Monday

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: Whitby in North Yorkshire remains one of the regions most popular tourist hotspots, and with good reason. The town is at the mouth of the River Esk, and this old fishing port retains mush character in its winding streets and hidden alleys. There is a picturesque harbour, sandy beach and the famous Whitby Abbey. Close to other seaside destinations such as Scarborough, Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby is also ideally placed for heading inland and exploring the beautiful countryside of the North York Moors National Park.

Really nice cottage. Fantastic views from bedroom very clean. Steps were sometimes a challenge but felt less guilty enjoying some lovely food in the town
