Centrally located spacious first floor 2-room studio apartment in renovated Grade 2 Georgian building situated steps from Bootham Bar and the city walls, York Art Gallery, Theatre Royal and Museum Gardens located on the River Ouse. It is just 5 minutes from York Minister and an easy walk to shops including the Shambles, York's famous medieval shopping street. The train station is 15 minutes walk so no car is needed but pick up from the station is available. Great location for York Races and visits to North Yorkshire Moors and coastal destinations such as Whitby and Scarborough. The flat has high ceilings with four tall period windows, King-size pillow-top bed, comfy full-size sofa, Flat screen TV, CD/DVD and free WiFi. There is a fully equipped separate kitchen/dining room including microwave and washer/dryer, a bathroom complete with tub/shower, and a secured central entry with intercom access. Restaurants, tea shops, pubs, as well as local grocery store, are less than one minute walk. Hotel quality linen and towels are furnished. Welcome basket with wine, tea, coffee, and biscuits completes the experience.

“Perfect apartment for a weekend away”
We had such a fantastic weekend in York and this apartment was the perfect base for everything we wanted to. Ideally located in the centre of York, with close by shops and cafes for everything we needed, we felt right at home in the beautiful apartment. Everything we needed was in the apartment and it is decorated to a high standard, with thoughtful added touches. We would love to stay again.

“Perfect base to explore York”
York is a great place for a short or long break, with so much to do and see in and around the city, and this flat is the perfect base, being a very short walk from the city walls. It is comfortable and well-equipped and Frank is quick to assist with any queries. Will definitely stay here again next time we visit York.

“Nel cuore di York”
La casa è piccola ma molto ben arredata con un comodo letto e un grande divano e poltrona ben sistemati con begli arredi che ottimizzano bene gli spazi vitali. La cucina e il bagno sono puliti e ben arredati, manca solo la lavastoviglie che però reputo ininfluente essendo la casa dimensionata per soli due ospiti. È situata a poche centinaia di metri da York Minster, dal centro storico ed è vicinissima alla porta di high Petersgate che dá accesso alle mura della città percorribili con una splendida vista sulla cattedrale. Un supermercato dista pochi passi così come molti ristoranti i e take away aperti fino a tardi (mentre il centro si spopola dopo le 18). Molto apprezzato anche il benvenuto offerto dal proprietario con un’ottima bottiglia di vino, latte biscotti e caffè.
