Description

Designed with families in mind, the house is also great for small groups. Many guest considerations have been taken into account when setting up this property - comfy beds, beautiful bed linen, essentials (shampoo, shower gel, tea, coffee), fast WiFi, and large TV with Netflix.

The property has been renovated and furnished to a very high standard by the owners, providing a superb holiday home comprising the following: Open plan Lounge, Dining and Kitchen, small utility room on the ground floor, three bedrooms (an en-suite) and a bathroom on the upper floors.

The cosy lounge has a large leather 3 seat sofa and two arm chairs around an electric feature wood burning stove. A large TV is positioned above the stove on the chimney breast which is connected to an Apple TV box that has a Netflix account, for those that wish to chill out in an evening.

The dining area has a large table and six chairs and plenty of room. The fully equipped luxury kitchen with marble worktops includes an Aga electric oven/grill and gas hob. An American style large fridge freezer with filtered water and ice, micro-wave, toaster and dishwasher.

Off the kitchen there is a small utility room that has a washer dryer, utility sink and a useful downstairs toilet. Parking is on street at the front of the property with a permit.

The rear yard is a beautiful place to sit on a warm evening. A perfect spot for a morning coffee alfresco or an evening glass of wine.

The main bedroom has a king size iron bed, with plenty of wardrobes and an en-suite shower room with basin and wc. The rear bedroom has a comfy double bed, single wardrobe and a chest of drawers. Loft / third bedroom has two single beds, (please note that upon request these can be made up to form a king size bed – although guests should be aware that this room does have head height restrictions being within the roof space. There is a travel cot available for use.

The main bathroom consists of a large bath with overhead shower, wc, bidet and basin.

“Fantastic week in York”

Great house within the city walls of York. So much to do within a 10/15 minute walk, so didn’t move the car once we’d arrived until we left. House was lovely and spacious and the welcome food and drink was much appreciated. The only slight negative was the heating being on for 13 hours a day and having 13.5 tog duvets on all the beds - we were far too warm.

Spacious 3 bed house, very clean, very nicely decorated. Great personal touches like welcome food pack Inc. Nice bottle of wine.only 5 mins walk into York so ideal location. Good tv package with Netflix which was a bonus!!

Very comfortable house with well equipped kitchen in a great location for shopping and eating in the city. Best dog friendly property we've found in York. Hope to return.
