Description from owner

Description

Shepherd's Delight is a beautiful shepherd's hut tucked away within it's own woodland shared only with the local wildlife. This is an off grid, get back to nature experience where you can fully recharge your batteries and escape the daily grind of the 21st century. The shepherd's hut itself has a woodburning stove, so it's cosy and warm during the winter months, a real romantic getaway. The double bed is fully sprung with luxury bedding (alpaca duvet and pillows made from the fleece of our own alpacas)-no expense spared when it comes to a good night's sleep. Experience the amazing outdoor hot shower and the wood burning hot tub (NB the hot tub is an additional £20/session payable on arrival).

The hut is situated just off the A61 half way between Harrogate and Ripon with the dales to the west and the moors to east. Perfectly positioned for walkers and cyclists with direct access onto some of the most beautiful footpaths and bridleways in the area. Walk to nearby village inns (The Inn at South Stainley, Breaton's Malt Shovel Inn or Burton Leonard's Hare & Hounds and Wormald Green's The Royal Oak). Being in the heart of North Yorkshire the hut is perfectly positioned for many of the areas attractions and there is village bus every 15 mins for those for those of you wanting to keep your carbon footprint down.

There are many walks you can embark on from the hut, and cycle options.

Interaction with guest

Once booked I will be back in contact a couple of days before your stay with an arrivals email. My usual check in time is 2pm but I'm usually fairly flexible so if you can't make this time if you let me know as soon as possible I should be able to accommodate this.
