Description
This beautiful log home is secluded and private, Located in the wooded foothills of Bryce Canyon. This real log home has a rustic elegance. It offers a peaceful and serene environment to enjoy off the beaten path. We are at 7.500 elevation & centrally located. Just 35 miles to the east entrance of Zion National Park and 35 miles to Ruby's Inn at Bryce Canyon. This area is called the Paunsagaunt Plateau, nationally acclaimed for its abundant wildlife. Your likely to enjoy your time spent at the lodge just as much as spending time at our beautiful parks.
This rustic and cozy home sleeps up to 10 comfortably. Open and spacious with 28 foot ceilings in the great room with 2 fireplaces that light up the home. Lots of windows to view the wildlife, moon light & star studded nights right from the living room. The stars are magnificent here!! Brighter than you've ever seen before!!
Indoor and outdoor dining. Beautiful indoor dining area at a handmade cedar & juniper table that seats 8 and second table close by in kitchen.
Outdoor dining off the great room to the south by a fire pit or next to a 300 year old cedar tree ( during the summer time ) with solar lights hanging from the trees and lining your path way. Or enjoy an outdoor breakfast area off the kitchen in the early morning sunrise time.
There's two master suites downstairs.
One has a Native American feel to it with a calif. king bed. big window doors looking out to only nature! not a neighbor in sight!!
The second suite has a tropical island feel to it. This beautiful room has a queen bed.
Also the large loft is partially open with 4 beds, 2 queen, ,1 king, & 1 twins,, There is a full bathroom with double sinks, a sitting area and balconies off both lofts.
A second loft invites the morning sun. It offers a reading/sitting area and relaxing spa/yoga room. Also doubles as a sleeping room with a queen bed and twin bed.
Inviting Country kitchen that is spacious and well stocked.
3 bathrooms, 1 has double sinks , double toilets, tub &shower. 2nd bath has double sinks , 1 toilet, tub&shower. 3rd bathroom has sink & toilet.
Large Outdoor fire pits seats 10 plus people. also one off the great room where you can see the outside fire through the windows of the great room .
Open floor plan with great acoustics, small TV & DVD , stereo with CD & DVD library. Wonderful home for entertaining and spending time with family and friends
Cell phone reception is good with most major carriers.
This home is a real log home and is off the grid with solar power. there is no microwave also please no hair dryers or curling irons.
This gives an extra added sense of peace and solitude in an already tranquil environment.
Plenty of parking for vehicles and ATV's. plenty of area on the property of 6 acres also there are lots of dirt roads in Long Vally Estates to go four wheeling , ATV's n dirt bikes right from the home. Great fishing close by as well. spacious room outside for pets including horses.
Bryce Canyon and Zion Natl Park are both approx 35 miles away.
There is no shortage of outdoor recreational activities close by.
National Parks, lake and stream fishing, Coral Pink Sand Dunes. snow skiing, ice fishing, golf, north rim Grand Canyon, Panquitch lake, Navajo lake, Aspen Mirror Lake, Duck Creek village, Monroe Hot Springs, Cedar Breaks. Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument . And Mystic River zip-line.
This Private & Secluded Log Home in the wooded foothills of the Paunsagaunt between Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park, off scenic hwy 89 . Three miles from Tods Country Store at Long Valley Junction. Hwy 89 & 14 . From Hwy 89 we are 2 1/2 miles on a maintained dirt road.
From St. George it is 1 1/2 hours, Vegas approx. 3 hours and from Salt Lake approx. 4 1/2 hours.
