We stayed at Three Rivers Resort for 4 nights. The stay was very relaxing! Having the hot tub on the deck was awesome! The cabin was clean and accommodated two people very well! It was great to have kitchen facilities for food and drinks. During our stay we also white water rafted and went on a horseback ride up at Crested Butte. Both were amazing! The mountain views were wonderful!

We loved staying at Three Rivers Resort, service is great, people are extremely polite, friendly, and the hospitality we enjoyed.
Our cabin was perfect, warm, cozy, and homey. The location of the cabin could not have been any better. Backed up to the river and mountains, the view and the sound of the river was so calming.
Enjoyed the hot tub every morning and night on the deck of the cabin.
Perfect start and ending for a day of skiing.
Only negative for the cabin was the bed. Mattress was not comfortable at all.
Hot tub was good relief from the mattress. -

We've stayed at Three Rivers twice. Both times we were very pleased. You're on a nice trout stream and not far from a number of other streams and outdoor activities. Our cabin was clean and well maintained. Any problems we had were quickly taken care of. The kitchen is a little "snug" but has all you need to get by for a week or so. The hot tub was very clean and well taken care of. The guys at the on site fly shop were very friendly and helpful and the small resturant there is reasonable and offers good food. We're going back this summer!

A great place to stay that is quiet and out of the way, yet you can be in Gunnison in 10 minutes or Crested Butte in about 20 minutes. Great views of the river and surrounding area. However, I feel that the price is on the high side. The beds were hard and the cabins are on the small size. But they do have a full kitchen which is a plus.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Three Rivers Resort in almont. Everyone was so very kind. Our son goes to college in Gunnison, and we wanted to share a mini get a way with him for his birthday. It was so close to Gunnison and not far from Creaste Butte!! We had a wonderful time. The only negative that I can tell you, is that we wish we would have stayed longer!! :) enjoy! Cabin 18 the hot tub was fantastic! thank you Mark, Jenn, Vitto, Hopefully we can afford to return in his senior year!!!

I'm so thankful to have found this place - wish we could have stayed longer. The cabin was beautiful inside and out, the scenery/view was amazing, and Mark was the best host we could've asked for. It was the perfect get-away spot that offered privacy and fun. We took full advantag of the kitchen and hot-tub.. watched the stars with a glass off wine out on the porch at night while relaxing in the hot-tub. Truly a special experience thanks to Mark and Three Rivers. Provided a most romantic get-away for my partner and me. We'll definitely be coming back

The people were top quality and the cabin was great. We really enjoyed the hot tub on the deck overlooking the Taylor river. Many times we saw bald eagles fly down the canyon while we were in the hot tub. We use the gas grill and kitchen to make some great stakes and settled in for a nice relaxing evening.

This is the best place to stay in the area hands down. We stay here every year and our party gets larger each time. We love the cozy, well equipped and clean cabins, friendly staff and beautiful resort. The individual hot tubs on the river are the best. As an angler I love this spot because of the proximity of great fishing, as a previous employee I appreciate the attention to detail and accommodations for the guests, as a outdoors person, this is the best spot in the valley.

I have stayed at this resort for the last 3 years in a row. Every experience has been excellent. The front desk is extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly. It is almost like staying with friends when I return. The service is outstanding, and the cabin always feels like home, only in the rugged, yet serene outdoors.

We enjoyed our stay very much and glad we chose to stay right on the river! Our check in was very friendly, efficient and thorough. The cabin was in very good shape, appliances were new, nice dishes and utensils, nice lighting and laid out very well. The screened in porch was very enjoyable particularly during the evening insect "hatch" on the river. We brought our own hummingbird feeder and enjoyed the numerous visits from the fast winged friends. Three Rivers Resort is very convenient to Gunnison and Crested Butte. We had a wonderful time and will look forward to a return visit!!
One item we did not find pleasurable was how dirty the futon sofa was. There was an extreme amount of sand, dirt and dust on the cushions and we did not feel comfortable sitting on it. With the color being dark brown it may not be easy to see the dirt but deserve attention from the housecleaning staff.
Other than that we had a wonderful time, Thank you very much!! Tim -

We loved our stay at Three Rivers Resort! The cabin was amazing! It had everything we could think of & more. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck & listen to the river flowing or the birds chirp; what a view! We really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day at the lake. All of the staff was very friendly & accomodating plus the ease of getting our fishing license at the shop. We loved breakfast with Tom! My favorite was the Breakfast BLT with the Breakfast burrito coming in 2nd. Yum! We really enjoyed our honeymoon with Three Rivers Resort & hope to make it back next year!

Had a great time in Cabin 18 which was perfect for my wife, 3 year old son and me. Despite the occasional snow flurries we still enjoyed the hot tub and flyfishing on the resort property. Mark, Mark, Jen, Nick and the rest of the staff were all outstanding. We're looking forward to returning again soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Three Rivers Resort. Making reservations was extremely easy, and the management staff was outstanding. We loved the ease of the thermostatically-controlled fireplace and having the hottub ready! The combination of unscreened deck for the hottub and screened deck for spring, summer & fall dining are truly priceless options! Great location with easy access to Crested Butte, Taylor Reservoir & Gunnison. Our only suggestions for improvement would be to have more lighting in the living area (lamp) and a more comfortable couch or new futon mattress.

My 80 year old Dad and I stayed here on a trip we were taking together. What a great place. We stayed in Cabin 18, right on the river. It was very nice and very clean. The people at the Office were extremely helpful and friendly. Definitely have to take my husband back and go rafting next time.

Baltimore, MDWe love Three Rivers!
Left on 08/17/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We recently stayed in Cabin 18 at Three Rivers which had been remodeled since our last visit. The beds were very comfortable, the hot tub was easy to open, close and operate and the cabin kitchen was well stocked. The ceiling fan is nice to keep the air moving through during the warm days. I notified the resort that the kitchen drawers need to be trimmed as they hit the stove and don't open all the way without opening the oven. We will absolutely go back again and recommend to others.

Left on 07/27/2011 for a stay in July 2011
For a true Colorado, mountian/on the river experience, I love Three Rivers Resort. Our cabin was right on the river. Clean, well-equipped, with a kitchen and a gas stove for chilliy mornings. The downisde is that it is a cabin, not a luxury resort, so don't expect that. And the lavatories are in each bedroom, not inthe bath.

The cabin was fabulous. I traveled with my family (wife and two young children) and in-laws, and we loved the accommodations. Beds were on the stiff side, but comfortable. The screened in porch, in combination with the outdoor porch, was absolutely fabulous. Of course we loved our own hot-tub! The hosts were kind and helpful, although it was obvious that there were some new staff that were still learning the ropes. Overall, we had a great time.

We have now stayed in cabins 18, 19, 20 (identical in layout) on 4 separate trips over the past two years. Very clean and smartly designed cabins with new appliances and comfortable beds. New hot tub on a deck over the Taylor river is very relaxing. We stay at 3Rivers as a great basecamp for chasing monster trout on the Taylor and Gunnison rivers which are within walking distance of the cabins.

The setting and cleanliness of the cabin was a huge surprise to us, having booked online without ever seeing first. Once there, the warmth and beauty of Three Rivers won our loyality for many years to come. My wife says this was to single most romantic place she could have ever wanted to spend her birthday and the pristine hot tub on the deck was the candle on her cake. Highly recommend this resort and riverside cabin to all my friends and family.

Left on 08/06/2009 for a stay in July 2009
Good service, absolutely love the location on the river. I slept on the futon in the living area just to hear those soothing river sounds and to watch the stars through the large window. I know the cabin has had some updates since I stayed there years ago, but I'd get rid of the carpet as well. Don't expect everything to be pristine in a cabin, but still don't like carpets that hide who knows what! I think you should list specific rates for peak season on your website rather than just "starts at" prices. We perused your website several times and still overlooked that. We arrived thinking we were going to pay less than what we actually did. Overall, we always enjoy our time at 3 Rivers.

We loved our little cabin on the river! It was very peaceful and relaxing after our days on the river. The on-site put-in for the river and river shuttles were definately a nice touch as well.
We are planning to make our visit to Three Rivers an annual trip. -

We enjoyed the river view. Had plenty of room and all we needed to be comfortable. The carpet was very dirty and had not been vacuumed. How did we know? There was loose change on the floor plus lots of dirt. Also, could not turn off the heat. We would return because of the location and being close to the river.
