Lodge Rooms
Our lodge rooms offer hotel-style accommodations plus a full kitchenette in every unit. These are the only units that offer air conditioning in the summer. They are located above the main store/office and are accessible from an interior stairwell or an exterior ramp. This unit is the only one that is designated as "handicap accessible" with more room to maneuver and the bathroom/shower is wheelchair accessible. Your cabins are very beautiful. Great spot for a resort.
The room was very nice. Just the right size, not too big/small.We had two windows which was extra nice. Bed was good size, but too hard.
I just want to say that I think your resort could be so much nicer if you did something with the big open space in you parking lot/area. Your cabins are beautiful, but when you walk out side them, it's like walking in a construction zone. Too much dirt parking lot. Need some more flowers/trees. -

I was a little hesitant to see what type of experience I was in for since the price as only $61 per night... especially in/near a ski town. However, much to my surprise, the room was big and extremely clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was updated + clean. This room at many of the touristy resorts would be $120+ per night (and those people would still think this is a great room). Overall, the building/facility was very tidy and the staff was great. If you need anything, the people are very friendly and more than happy to help (they are flexible too). Obviously, the location leaves a little to be desired (15 minute drive to CB), but for me it was not a big deal. There is a great restaurant/bar (2 minute walk) on the main road that is worth a stop. Anyways, great place at a great value.

Whenever traveling to the Gunnison/Almont/Crested Butte area I will always stay at 3 Rivers Resort. I have stayed in the cabins and lodge rooms, and all are clean and have all the amenities you need.
The staff are friendly and accommodating. If you need something, just ask. The restaurant has great food and cold beer! And the fly shop is the best all around for advice, guiding, flies and whatever else you may need. -

Room was very clean, good towels, linens, sheets. Ac was loud even on low settings. Limited TV channels, missed cable news. Bedroom needed an operable window; the window being screwed shut to mount aC. Mattress was comfortable. Room quiet given location above bar in restaurant. I had inquired about other rooms, on river side but told none available; though I did not hear or see anyone at several rooms. Upstairs hall needed air movement; one window at stairs did not allow for circulation. Overall, I'd stay again.

The room, being above the kitchen area, was extremely hot when we arrived. The swamp cooler in the window helped after a few hours but made also made it so that we couldn't open the window, which would've been really helpful.
The room was immaculate, and had everything we needed except sheets for the futon, which we had to go down and get from the front desk. The futon was not comfortable to sleep on. The mini-kitchen was great. -

We received excellent service.
It was a handicapped room which made it very comfortable with no steps to climb with our new knee replacements. We appreciated the ramp to the upper level.
The thing we liked least about the room was the lack of ventilation. Because the walls retained the heat from the day, we had to run the air conditioner all night to keep the room comfortable. The only window that opened was the bathroom window. If a quiet fan could be installed to draw in fresh air at night that would circulate the air out of the bathroom window, the noisy air conditioner would not be needed all night and energy could be saved.
In spite of the ventilation issue we will ask for that room the next time we stay at Three Rivers.

This was our second stay at 3 Rivers Resort. Both times we have stayed in a lodge room and have enjoyed it. The rooms are very clean, well equipped and the help are all super friendly!
We weren't too lucky in the fishing department this time around, but there are many other things to keep you entertained. I have always wanted to try the river rafting or jeep tours but haven't yet.
The on site resteraunt has great food and very friendly service.
If you are looking for a relaxing time in some very beautiful scenery, this is the place.
