SoLa and Zilker combined mean a fun location. Enjoy this mid-century bungalow in the heart of Zilker and South Austin. Decorated with vintage auto posters and other fun stuff.
The home is two bedroom, one bath with complete kitchen, and dining. Sleeps five with queen beds in each bedroom and a pull out single in the living room. The bathroom is located in a hallway between the bedrooms. Grab dinner from Mr. Natural or Taco Xpress, take it home and enjoy a glass of wine on your own patio.

Located in the middle of the Barton Hills and Zilker neighborhoods and near South Lamar (SoLa) it’s five minutes by car or cab to downtown. Only a two minute walk to Maria’s Taco’s, Matt’s El Rancho, Mr. Naturral and Irie Bean Coffee Bar. You are also a short walk (about one mile) to Barton Springs and Lady Bird Lake, Zilker Park, and ACL.
The South Congress district is only a 5 minute cab ride or drive away. You are also 20 minutes to the University of Texas.
But really, if you are downtown bound, no car is needed at this address because it’s also just one block from the main Lamar bus line that goes straight to UT and Downtown, cruising past Alamo Draft House, Uchi, Olivia‘s, and Barton Springs on the way. Or, take a cab, it's under three miles to downtown and the new Austin City Limits music venue, all of the great restaurants and music.
We offer off-street parking for up to two cars in the driveway on the side of the house. The house is on a corner lot, so there is also street parking in front of the house for your guests.
There is a fenced side yard, small, but a good dog run for your furriend friend. (We do ask for and want to know who your furry friends are, and usually ask for a pet deposit.) We love dogs, and travel wtih our dog, Desi quite a bit.
