The home has 5 bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, living area with brand new plasma televisions, grand fireplace, dining room, and bar area. There is ample parking in the circle drive. The backyard includes a jacuzzi, outdoor kitchen, deck, and relaxing water feature.

Perfect location! This spacious oasis in Central Austin comfortably sleeps 10 and is walking distance to downtown and the State Capitol, the Governor's Mansion and the University of Texas (home to the Harry Ransom Center, the Blanton Art Museum and the UT Tower). For those interested in the great outdoors, there is fabulous swimming in the icy cold waters of Barton Springs (68 degrees year round) or local hang out, Deep Eddy pool. Austin offers beautiful hiking and mountain biking along the Barton Creek Greenbelt also walking distance from the house. in addition, if you are a jogger or want to go for a leisurely bike ride or walk, Lady Bird Lake has trails ranging from 3-12 miles long -- this too is walking distance from the property. If you are attending the ACL Festival in Zilker Park, it is within walking distance. For Formula One fans, all transportation leaves from downtown walking distance from the home. Walk to one of the best bar scenes in Texas (6th Street) and to many of Austin's best restaurants. Lions Municipal Golf course is less than a mile away. Outlet mall shopping is less than 30 minutes away at the Prime Outlet mall in San Marcos.

Laura's helpful, friendly manner made us feel welcome even before we arrive. Her beautiful home is centrally located with tons of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The beds were very comfortable, so we all got a good night's sleep which is a must for me with my bad back. The living room is spacious and open with a two story ceiling and lots of comfortable seating. I particularly enjoyed the clean, well equipped kitchen. With a small grocery just a convenient walk away, we were able to easily relax and "eat in" for a few meals and the back patio was perfect for conversation and drinks after dinner. We also enjoyed a long walk though the trees in Pease Park which is just a couple of blocks away. More ambitious souls jogged or biked but it was so pretty and peaceful we just took our time. An austin treasure tucked away on a quiet street just minutes from downtown and the UT campus, this is definitely a 5 star rental. We plan to rebook this gem next time we come to town for UT football games!
