Response from the manager Thank you for taking the time to write a review. This is a very nice home and yes it is the first home backing to the highway. The redlight sits one community south. Traffic is unpredictable depending on YOUR stay. Some weeks bring more motorcycles through town (bike week), while other weeks never hear a truck or bike. This home is very well built, but not "traffic" proof. There are two highway facing bedrooms (perhaps not ideal for the "light sleeper"). For the most part our town is quiet and completely dead by 11pm-12am. We have extra blenders in the office for such a break down. I apologize that there was a miscommunication and you did not receive a new one. Recycling is provided by local vendors and while we call and ask them to come back after missing us, they are often to busy to make a special trip. Each home has listed pick up days for trash and recycling (it is never the same day) for their home.
