We enjoyed an incredible week long stay at this home. I can't even begin to explain how beautiful the view of the mountains truly is. The home was immaculately cleaned. From the pictures we had high expectations for our stay and they were exceeded. We will stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay. We have stayed at Windcliff a couple of times prior so we knew the location well. When we called about reservations, we were guided through the available homes by the Windcliff representative who recommended the Divine home. Excellent choice. Very roomy, great deck (truly "Devine" views), well equipped kitchen (except they need a couple additional serving bowls and a large flat skillet or griddle for pancakes-what are mountain mornings without pancakes?) No doubt we will be at Windcliff again!

Thanks for the great review. The owner has added a large griddle and serving bowls to the home.

The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. We actually mixed up our dates and stayed an extra day. It was totally our fault, but the staff was able to accommodate us with no problem.
The house was clean, tastefully decorated and well stocked with amenities. The views were amazing. We spent a lot of time on the deck looking at the mountains, watching the hummingbirds, and photographing the deer that wandered around the house each evening.
Estes Park itself has many family activities, and it's right beside Rocky Mountain National Park.
We stayed there in June, and my wife was nervous going up the switchbacks to get to the house the first time. She got used to it over the course of the week. -

The house was clean, comfortable, and really well stocked - among the most amenities and necessities of any home away from home we have stayed. The view was spectacular as this house is one of the higher lots on the property. And the proximity to the park entrance was super convenient - just far enough out to feel away from it all, but not so far that things are not accessible.

Left on 01/04/2012 for a stay in December 2011
We went to Estes park on Christmas day and Divine was beautiful. The home itself, the furnishings, fixtures, appliances, all high quality. But the best part are the views every room in the house has outdoor access and a wonderful view. We toured the Rocky Mountain National Park but our best pictures of the Continental Divide were taken from Divine.
Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Divine waking up to 10 inches of snow in a beautiful, cozy, warm home. Elk and colorful birds were within a few feet of our windows. During the day we viewed the majestic snow covered Rocky Mountains and at night we saw the lights of Estes Park. The Windcliff staff was very helpful and friendly. All the furnishings and accommodations were superb!

Unfortunately, my husband was ill during our entire stay in the Divine House at Windcliff but the beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains helped us to have a more enjoyable time while there. The Windcliff staff was very kind and helpful to me during this time. We had a few problems with the unit, but the Windcliff staff quickly took care of all problems.
We appreciate all the help and andrew is a great addition to their staff. He was such a big help! We look forward to returning next fall to Estes Park and Windcliff. -

Everything went very smothly with the reservtion, check in, check out, and payment. The house was exactly as expected and everything was very clean and comfortable. The location was beautiful and so quiet. We could hear the clacking of the Elk horns as they fought in the valley below! Kitchen was well equipped. The jacuzzi tub was one of the nicer ones I have ever used. Great experience all around. Will definitaly stay in Windcliff properties again!

Herndon, VAExcellent Property, Must Like High Places
Left on 09/16/2011 for a stay in August 2011
The Windcliff folks were great to deal with and the property was even nicer than advertised. The Divine unit is a two story duplex, nicely furnished and updated, spotless, and with everything in working order. The views are truly spectacular, changing constantly with the weather and light, and impossible to capture in snapshots. It's ten minutes to downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, plenty close enough. Our family of four had a great stay. The only downsides are (a) you have to like driving the twisting gravel (very well maintained but still gravel) road up the mountainside and navigating a tricky driveway; and (b) you have to be good with sleeping at around 8700 feet. My family had no problem with the altitude but I had a cold and it took me a couple of days to get comfortable. But the price was an absolute bargain for what we got. Highly recommended.

Thanks for the great review! We like to say that the price you have to pay for the spectacular views and secluded setting is some driving up our mountain roads. You have to go up to see the views, and we have the best views anywhere in the Estes Park area. Our roads are professionally maintained by our property owners' association and are very safe.
Thanks again for staying at Divine, we hope to see you back again soon! -

The views here were awesome - inside was lovely and clean. Had some issues with TV controller, but not too big of a deal to us and I am sure they will get this straightened out.

Thanks for your review. We have made some changes to the Home Entertainment system and have installed satellite TV in the home recently for the living room and master bedroom. There are clear instructions posted in the home for use of the Home Entertainment system.

The reason we traveled to Estes Park was to honor the final wishes of our parents. Divine was our "home base". Although only 6 family members actually stayed at Divine, there was plenty of room for the others to drop by, eat meals and visit on the deck, at the table, or in the beautifully remodeled kitchen. The snow capped Continental Divide was an unexpected bonus. Next year there is an Estes Park wedding taking place. We'll be back!

Left on 11/11/2009 for a stay in November 2009
Beautiful sunrise, amazing views, comfortable well appointed home, roaring fire, warm bubble bath, charming Estes shop owners and the most thoughtful and wonderful husband made for a most memorable birthday weekend:)
Hoyer house was a beautiful, comfortable, well appointed home. From the leather couches in front of the rock fireplace (gas but looked and sounded like a wood burning fireplace) to the beautiful tile shower and large jetted tub in the master bath it is a home to experience the charm and beauty of Estes Park. -

We felt the Hoyer home was just great for us although there were only 2 of us in the home built for 6-8?. I read a previouse review that complained about the hot water, we had no such problems other than it took a min, or two for it to reach the sinks when first turned on but no different than any other home.
The gas fire place was well used. The kitchen was very well equiped with nicer appliances than I have in my own home. The views of the Rockies were fantastic and unobstructed from every room in the house. Nice deck with gas grill.
If I had to find a complaint it might be time to find a new mattress in the MBR.
Overall we were very happy with our stay.

No issues with getting the rental agreement, etc., went through without any issues. Did not need any service during stay. Very well maintained house. Well stocked kitchen. Had enough toys to keep the children busy.
Every bed room has large glass doors with great views. Very happy to sit outside and to see the mountains circle you!
The drive to groceries and RMNP beaver meadows entrance is about 15mins. Not too bad.
Our smallest child is very active and runs around a lot. We missed out "stairs gate".
We were outside most of the time. If we spent more time in the house, a bigger TV would have been nice in the living and bed rooms.
Overall this is one of the best rental houses we have stayed at. -

Mount Prospect, IllinoisVery pleasant on the whole
Left on 07/05/2009 for a stay in June 2009
Hoyer is lovely on the whole. However, we find the following to be unsatisfactory:
* The housekeeping was not done thoroughly:
* There was a dead spider in the bed of the master bedroom;
* There was quite a bit of white lint/caulking debris in the master
bathroom
* There were dead insects in the tub of the master bathroom.
* The rug in the kitchen is worn at one end and caused two of us to trip
* The outside grill is dirty and we did not want to use it if we have to clean it first. Per your contract, the people who used it before were supposed to clean it.
Also, I am not sure if the sliding door to the balcony can be securely locked. Though the area is very quiet, I still feel that all the doors leading into the house should be able to be properly locked.

TXView is fabulous!

We really got tired of the COLD showers!! The hot water would run out after one shower and then you would have to wait for it to reheat. We just couldn't get ready in a timely manner. If a house will sleep a certain amount of people, it needs to be able to furnish enough hot water for those people. The rental company wouldn't reimburse us in the slightest for the lack of hot water. Most of the house is remodeled nicely, but the kitchen is in a time warp, but works. The deck needs some home repair and paint, but great to watch the clouds roll in over the mountains. The small bedroom had no lamps and only one light bulb in the ceiling...very dark and a bit scary. The master bed and bath were nicely done and a very comfortable bed, especially nice having our own t.v.. Common areas were very comfortable and nicely decorated. We enjoyed our stay and the view was fabulous 24/7. This could be a really beautiful/comfortable home if remodeled correctly.

Thank you for yor review. We responded to your report of cold water with a visit by a licensed plumber the same day. The plumber was unable to find any problem with the hot water heater which was also set to the correct temperature.

We spent one of the most relaxed weeks we have ever had in this beautiful home. We usually run around the entire time we are on vacation. The home was so lovely and inviting that for the first time we were perfectly content to just stay "HOME". The home was so warm and inviting and had all the ammenities we were looking for.
We felt like we were on a retreat. The views are spectacular and it is set up perfectly for a family with children.
We are planning another stay in the near future, but this time we will bring our daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. We can hardly wait!
