As always the staff of Windcliff was very accommodating and kind. The property was well kept, clean and as always comfortable, this was our third stay at this property and we will be back :) The wildlife by the home was abundant and very friendly for not being permitted to be feed. We love Estes Park and as I said before we will be back again in the not too distant future. Thank you so much for a great vacation!!!

There were lot of plus features. The kitchen was fully stocked, we didn't need to buy any utensiles, etc. 2 negative comments - the door locks are not adequate for families with small children. Our 2 year old could open locked doors & also, some appliances could be updated (washer, family room TV, etc) back to positives - we loved the location and the view. We liked being right next to Rmnp & took several hikes/walks through the area.
We love your development and would stay at Windcliff anytime we get the chance. -

This was our second stay at Werlein in 3 years and I think it was even better than our last visit. We saw more wildlife around the house then before and it was spectacular! Everything is so close and the staff and towns people are so nice and very accomodating. Will definitely be back again!

We had a great time at our family reunion. The house was clean and well-supplied, with a wonderful view and good layout of rooms. Everyone at Windcliff was very good to work with. Our only suggestion is that the house could use a decorating make-over. But that is a minor thing compared to everything else being such high-quality.

My family rented the Werlein house and the adjoining Miller house for 5 days and all 16 of us, ages 11 to 83, were very comfortable. The (Werlein) house was well equipped with everything we needed, including board games, a barbeque grill, and firewood.
There were a lot of chipmuks running around outside and they were very cute and playful. One did get into each house--the one in the Miller house was encouraged to leave quickly, but the one in the Werlein house chewed through the window screen while we were gone and got into some food on the kitchen counter. (We had been told to put all food away, but overlooked the welcome basket left by the management company, and the chipmunk scattered cocoa mix all over the counter tops! )
The house had a wonderful deck with a table and chairs, and a great view of the mountains. The Werlein is located at the end of a driveway with no houses behind it, so it is very private and quiet. The children enjoyed playing in the forest, building a fort out of fallen timber, and taking walks along the trail behind the house. As we were packing things up to leave my brother said he'd like to stay another week, and I think we all agreed with him. -

We had a perfect vacation. The house we stayed in gave our family(including baby)plenty of room to spread out. We also enjoyed our "together" time, gathered in the large living room that had a huge picture window displaying the view of the mountains. The kitchen and dining room facilitated easy meals and easy clean up. Our hike in the mountains was spectacular! The mountains streams were the highlight. We hope to make it an annual trip in the future!

Just spent 4 great days in Estes Park, CO and the facilities were impeccable. The home was well maintained and very clean. The wildlife was great to see show close to the homes. Will be back again next year!!! Too bad you can't correct the lack of oxygen in Colorado :o)

This place is roomy with great views. We will likely come back again with a different group. The accomodations and set up were just what we needed. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment which was good because we were kind of snowed in. If you need a TV (we didn't), then maybe this one isn't for you.
We did have an issue with the snow removal. We called in advance due to a heavy snow forecast. We were concerned about the snow removal since we didn't have 4wd. We were assured that the road would be plowed and the driveway was one that was always on their list to clear. They were not clear when we got there. Fortunately someone in our group had 4wd. My car never did make it up the mountain. Had to call for driveway clearing on the 2nd day too. This was an exceptional snowfall (over 3 ft) but that was the forecast. I just feel the confidence espressed was beyond their capacity for snow removal. -

The home had a wonderful, mountain view and plenty of room for our party of eight. We spent a week-end in the property for a golfing vacation. The deck was a great place to gather at the end of the day for drinks and hor d'oerves.
The home is on the side of a mountain so it is about a 10 minute drive of switchbacks on a dirt road from the rental office, where you acquire the keys. The rental office responded immediately to a request for a repair to a faucet.
This was our second visit to Windcliff properties and would definitely return. -

Werlein is a beautiful home perched on the side of a mountain overlooking beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park. Every room has a view. The house was perfect for relaxation or as a base for hiking in the mountains, and felt like "home". Great kitchen, great patio. Very close to the many attractions in Estes Park and the National Park.

The location, staff and accommodations are great! The only complaint I had was the VERY noisy dryer! Everything else was perfect. The units are set up so well all you need are groceries. Very clean.
