englandPenblaith barn - fantastic
Left on 02/04/2013 for a stay in February 2013
We have just returned from Penblaith Bar. This is a beautifully restored converted barn with everything you could ever imagine you needed inside. We were celebrating a friends retirement. All the 8 rooms are fantastic and have decent bathrooms. The standard of the glasses and crockery are excellent. Hot tub was also lovely and warm.

Windermere, United KingdomA fabulous property at an incredibly reasonable price
Left on 10/15/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We travelled as a church group with ages ranging from 40s to 80s. One lady had mobility problems and the stair lift made everything so much easier for her. There was plenty of space to spread out, the kitchen was very well equipped, every bedroom was en-suite and the mattresses were extremely comfortable enabling a good night's rest for all. Relaxation was completed by eneergetic games of table tennis followed by soaking in the hot tub.
The owners were most helpful accepting our on-line delivery from Tesco and providing the serving spoons which appeared to have 'walked'. Everyone commented on how amazing the property and the holiday were. -

Choosen for my husbands 40th with 15 of our friend. The barn itself is in great condition & very clean and well presented. There is a separate games rooms & walled garden across the courtyard where we enjoyed doing an evening BBQ and the patio area & seating make a lovely place to sit with a chilled glass of wine over looking the hills. All the rooms are of eaqual standard & are spacious with well done out bathrooms. We hired local caterers (Catherine & Paul Smith) on the saturday night & they delivered an exceptional dinner party with great food & service. Things to point out, it is on a working farm so don't be suprised if you hear to odd cow as an alarm call but that just adds to the charm of the place and the nearest pub is a 2 and bit mile walk but is a nice walk through the country lanes. Overall our whole party were really impressed with the barn & I would reccomend a visit, suitable for families or parties of friends.

If you are looking for a remote place with beautiful scenery... this is the place. The facility is well suited for 16 people. Large kitchen facility with all the dishes, pots, pans and dual dishwashers make large dinner preps. very manageable. Local hiking paths, pond fishing, and nearby bike and sports parks make this location ideal. The games room and hot tub are not connected to the house. There is a barn very close to the home so if the wind is blowing in certain directions there are is a fresh country smell. Some may not like this aspect. Overall nice place.

brixtonbelleGreat choice for our joint 50th birthday weekend
Left on 04/19/2012 for a stay in March 2012
As a group of 5 couples looking for a location for our joint 50th birthday weekend Trevase Granary was just brilliant. We came from far & wide (Devon, Manchester, London, Kent) and so the location was excellent. Every room having an en suite meant no raffle or squabbling for the best bedrooms. Loads of space for each doing their own thing, including one who had to do some work and one wanting peace & quiet. Broadband so those that felt the need could show off their ipads. Kitchen with every conceivable gadget (well we did bring our own fish kettle) so others of us could show off our 'event' cooking. Kitchen separate from dinning room meant we could have caterers in for the big meal on the Saturday night & they could work away & clean up afterwards undisturbed. Lots of big sofas for reminiscing & telling tales of back when we were young. Clear dark skies so someone could show off their knowledge of Venus & Mars. Nice gentle walk from doorstep. Bigger hills for those wanting something more demanding (including off-road cycling) not too far away. Waitrose & the Wine Society delivered (doesn't that categorises me?!) and the owners were there to take the deliveries & put stuff in the fridge ahead of our arrival. the Jacuzzi got good reports. Oh and I nearly forgot to mention, it was spotless & wonderfully kitted out.
A huge success!

SLoughTaking a break from Corporate Life
Left on 03/02/2012 for a stay in January 2011
I booked Trevase Granary for a three day off-site meeting for the Board of Telefonica o2; it was perfect for this type of event as we were keen to get away from corporate life and have some quality thinking time.
The barn is finished to a very high standard and every bedroom is en-suite. The kitchen has every gadget you could possibly require so we had great fun cooking together; the huge dining table allowed us to enjoy some very sociable meals.
Finally the games room provided the post dinner competitive entertainment- great fun!
I highly recommend this place. -

Stowmarket, England, United KingdomPerfect Venue for our KFC Team Build/Offsite
Left on 02/23/2012 for a stay in February 2012
11 of us used Trevese Granary for a KFC Team Build/Off Site Location.
The venue was perfect for us. It provided plenty of space, comfort and an ideal environment to get to know each other better and create a Regional Strategy for 2012!
We would definately use the venue again and highly recommend it to other companies looking for something a bit different from the usual dull and uninspring hotel meeting rooms.
A big Thanks to Liz for being on hand to ensure we had everything we needed! -

Left on 11/01/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We are a family of 14 who holiday together once a year. We have just booked for our 4th year at Trevase Granary. The whole place is absolutely fantastic. Every possible thing has been thought of. All the bedrooms are en-suite and even include small toiletries in all the bathrooms. There are 2 seperate lounges and a fabulous kitchen which has everything you could possibly want for a large group with 2 fridges and 2 dishwashers. The games barn in the garden is very well equiped and I know liz the owner puts toys in the barn suitable for the ages of any children in the party. The first year we stayed we had 2 toddlers in the group and there was 2 trikes and 2 push along toys so there was no arguements. Everything is tailored to the exact needs of each set of guests. Included in the games barn is a fantastic indoor hot tub this has bi-fold doors which you can open to capture the fantastic views from the garden in nice weather. There is even a shower room in the barn to use after the hot tub. A huge gas barbeque is supplied in the garden and the games barn also has a dishwasher and is stocked with cutlery plates and glasses. Every little detail has been thought of by Liz who is a fantastic owner. She is always on hand for any queries and is extremely helpful. She will even take delivery of your online shopping before you arrive and put it in the kitchen for you. We have tried to think of any improvements but have been unable to come up with anything its all so perfect. I would recommend Trevase Granary to anyone. It is the best self catering property we have every stayed in.

Chester, United KingdomSuperb!!
Left on 10/12/2011 for a stay in October 2011
Sixteen friends took this barn for the weekend and everything about it was superb. We had space to separate out to read or watch tv in comfort after our walks in the beautiful countryside,or to go and play table tennis, or relax in the hot tub. There were plentiful supplies of glasses for pre-dinner drinks, and masses of china and crockery . We could all sit around a large table on comfortable chairs, and after laughter-filled evenings retire to well-appointed bedrooms, each with its own en-suite. On the odd times when we needed advice from the owners, they were on hand and helpful. It was not the cheapest place we have ever stayed in - but definitely the best!
