I recognize that my rates may be slightly higher than the AVERAGE 2 bedroom unit rented by the Outrigger if you are going directly to them, but this is not an AVERAGE unit. Please read the reviews and you will see that you are getting a 5* unit and will be extremely satisfied with your stay. I am out there every 3 months making sure that the unit stays in tip top shape!

Loved this Kaanapali condo! Went with my three kids and my dad and there was plenty of room for all to relax and enjoy. Two huge bedrooms with two queen beds in each (nice cotton sheets) including spacious bathrooms with great showers and lots of clean, comfy towels. Great Tv's in all rooms (although we really only used them to check sport scores!). Big comfortable combo dining, living and kitchen rooms. Clean, well equipped kitchen with all the pots, pans and dishes you could need or want. Nice, new appliances too. Wonderful huge lanai with lots of outdoor furniture for dining, lounging, etc. Large sliding glass doors to allow Maui winds to blow through the condo...ahhh!!! Fantastic view of golf course, hotels and beaches beyond. Everything within walking distance -- restaurants, beaches, walking paths, shopping. Short easy drive to Lahaina for great food. This is a great spot at the right price if you want to travel with family and not be bankrupted by hotel prices. Nice, flexible owners and kind, helpful front desk service too. We'll definitely be going back to this Maui Eldorado condo!

Our family has stayed at the Maui El Dorado a number of times over the last 8 years. This was, by far, the best unit we have ever rented. The location in the complex is great - close to the Bbq's, close to the warmest and quietest of the 3 pools, away from the noise of the main parking garage and reception area and with a super view of the golf course, ocean and beach cabana. We spent most evenings on the huge lanai watching the last of the golfers and then the sun set before dinner. The unit itself is immaculate and very well appointed. The kitchen was fantastic and well-stocked, the beds super comfortable and the air conditioning worked well (which we have found to be an issue in some of the other units in the past). The owner was very easy to contact, extremely helpful and accommodating. The welcome package the owner provided was a nice touch with lots of great information. Can't wait to go back!

We recently stayed in this unit at the Maui Eldorado. Where to begin? This is a large unit with plenty of room for lots of friends and family. On this trip my husband and I were joined by my adult niece and her husband. The guys golfed every other day at the Kaanapli courses. The girls found plenty to do: whale watching from the lanai, sunning at the beach, shopping nearby, or just relaxing. The corner location of this unit provides great views of the golf course out front and the ocean in the distance. Most beach days we just walked down, but sometimes we hitched a ride on the electric cart service (call the front desk). This unit is nicely appointed, and well cared for. It has a large kitchen, and in fact, we stayed home 9 nights out of 10 and cooked for ourselves. Barbecues are located by the pool near this unit, so it was easy to do steaks or chicken on the grill. The bathrooms and bedrooms are large and roomy, and lovely! We have been visiting Maui for over 30 years, and have always loved staying at the Eldorado, and we truly love this unit! Can't wait to return. :)

We booked the condo for a family vacation and had a great time. The condo is beautifully updated and full of amenities, and the floor-to-ceiling windows let in lots of natural light. We were excited to find a place with two queen beds in each bedroom, which was ideal for us. The lanai is huge and one of our favorite activities was hanging out and relaxing there. The beach cabana is a special treat we enjoyed having access to, and the opportunity to order and have lunch brought down was a bonus. We also liked that one of the pools was just a few steps from the condo. We appreciate renting from someone like alan; he provides very thorough details about the condo in his "welcome kit," and lots of helpful suggestions regarding exploring the surrounding area.

Everything was perfect. That's about all I need to say, but I won't. The size of the bedrooms was super. More than enough room to keep our baby swing and pack and play in one room. Kitchen updates were fantastic, some of which I think I may add to my house!
The most outstanding feature was the wrap around lanai that was in a perfect location right on the golf course with sensational views of the sunset every night. Great patio furniture with enough seating for everyone.
Can't say enough good stuff about staying here. -

Typically our family stays at the Fairmont Villas in Wailea. We sought a change this year and booked this particular unit as we had multiple family/friends staying at the Eldorado. We were most impressed and will return in the near future. Clean, spacious, renovated, well-equiped and quiet. Situated on the golf course with an amazing view, made for great family dinners. Truly a gem within the Eldorado community.

This condo is an exceptional rental at the Maui El Dorado! The owners have succeeded in making it a warm, comfortable and inviting place to stay while on Maui! We so appreciated the cleanliness, fully equipped kitchen and new amenities of an updated unit. The laundry was a plus with a "little one" in our group! Our family of seven enjoyed a week of fun at the beach, snorkeling, parasailing and of course time on the golf course. The view is fantastic off the lanai and one could easily sit there all day and enjoy the views if you wanted! We are definitely looking forward to another visit to this unit! The owner was easy to work with as well! Thanks so much for making it available!

We had a great stay at the Maui Eldorado C205. There were 6 adults and one child (2.5 yr old) in our party and there was ample space for everybody! The unit still looks new from the recent renovations and everything is very tastefully done. The kitchen is beautiful -- very spacious, clean and had all the necessities. We ate in a number of days and it was a pleasure to cook in the kitchen.
The bathrooms were also very spacious and very nicely done. The only thing that we missed a little was a bath tub as my 2.5 yr old son is used to taking baths versus showers.
The bedrooms were very spacious and very comfortable. There were two queen sized beds in each bedroom and yet there was lots of room to move around! Each room had its own climate control, which was a big plus!
The living and dining room was very spacious. The dining room table was big enough for all 7 of us to sit down to eat. There is also a table outside on the lanai which we used for some meals as well. The lanai was very spacious and was a great place to have breakfast in the mornings, have a nap in the afternoons, watch the sunset in the evenings and also to watch people playing golf on the adjacent golf course. There is a storage cupboard out on the lanai that has boogie boards, noodles, snorkels and fins, sand toys for kids, etc.
And the beach! It was beautiful! The walk to the beach was short and easy -- we did not need the golf cart rides. The beach cabana was a big plus. We got fresh towels and had lunch there after playing in the water. We walked over to the Sheraton side to snorkel and also watched the torch lighting ceremony at sunset. We walked to Whalers a couple of times for shopping and for lunches and dinners.
We drove to the Maui Ocean Center, Lahaina, Makena (for a wedding), Iao State Park, Haleakala to watch the sunrise. All in all, we had a great stay in Maui and would love to go back! -

This unit at the Maui Eldorado is facing a golf course, and it has an ocean view in the distance. It is very spacious, with two queen sized beds in each spacious bedroom. Both the bathrooms are large as well. The unit's lanai is huge. We walked to Kaanapali beach, Whaler's Village, many lovely restaurants. Having a Cabana right on the beach is a definite plus. On the downside we experienced a big ant invasion the very first night of our stay. I went shopping the first day. Overnight, the ants had gotten into everything edible on the counter, and I had to throw it all out. They even got into our washcloth in the bathroom. Bummer. After spraying around the outside wall, door and window, the ants got less. We had to be very careful not to leave out any food at all on the counters. Another problem was that we were without electricity a couple of times. We had to wait until maintenance found the electrical box and switched the fuse.( It seemed to do this when the microwave oven was on.) The kitchen and the bathrooms as well as most of the flooring seemed like they had been recently renovated. But I would definitely rent this unit again. It's location can't be beat. And you have much more privacy and more quietude at this condo then at any of the renowned resorts along the beach.

Thanks for your great comments about the unit - sounds like you did a lot when you were there. Regarding the electrical panel, I can tell you that I finally got the Eldorado to redo the fuse box so that load is more even across the unit which now prevents it from blowing. Our son's wedding brought my family to Maui. We stayed at Maui Eldorado Unit C205. It was fabulous. It is spacious (there were 6 of us), beautifully decorated and comfortable beyond words. The owner, Alan, provided us with a very detailed welcome package of restaurants, sites, and general information about the area, airports, car rental, stores, etc. I would rate 10 stars if that option was available. It was all that and more. Relaxing, peaceful and our best vacation ever! Thanks alan and family for sharing your vacation rental with our family.

We had a fabulous stay in Kaanapali in this spacious beautiful unit. I researched numerous options and websites for days before deciding upon the El Dorado Unit C205. I chose to rent directly from the owner on Vrbo because I wanted to be sure we had an amazing ocean view. The El Dorado is an older property and there are lots of ground floor units with no views. We couldn't have been happier in this unit. The pictures don't do it justice as far as the size of the bedrooms and living area. So spacious and tastefully decorated. We loved watching the Olympics on the giant flat screen TV. I forgot my phone charger and it was so great to have the ihome stereo docking station. The kitchen was really well stocked and we were able to cook-in two of the nights and took advantage of the outdoor grill. The beach cabana is a huge asset and we loved having access to the owner's boogie boards and snorkel masks. If you got hot sitting on the beach you just walked up to the cabana and refilled your drink from the ice machine and used the free wi-fi to check e-mail and relax on the lounge chair with a freshly laundered towel. Very civilized and not the crazy scene of a giant hotel. We did enjoy walking to the other side of black rock and snorkel. Husband and kids even swam out and jumped off black rock from the Sheraton side. Maui ElDorado offers the best of both worlds. Value and convenience of a condo but not so isolated that you couldn't walk for 15 minutes and get ice cream and shopping at Whalers Village.
Of course no review would be complete without a couple of suggestions. When you rent from an owner you aren't sure how stocked the unit will be. It had lots of extra touches that you wouldn't get from an Outrigger unit like 2 cold beers in the fridge and handy condiments. However, there were no bars of soap in the showers or a box of tissue so we had to puchase a few things on our grocery store run - but not a big deal. Thanks for the great write up , you should be a travel agent! Sounds like you really took advantage of all of the great things to do at the Maui Eldorado so that is super. Sorry to say but we do not use BAR SOAP - personally I hate when owners leave a half bar of used soap so instead we have asked our cleaning lady to make sure that the unit has a bottle of liquid soap in dispenser in the showers as well as a large bottle of shampoo and conditioner. There is too much waste in this world with those small bottles of shampoos and conditioner or unused soap so we decided to try and be a little "Maui Green" and just use reusable large bottles. Hope that is ok in the future and thanks again for your great review!

Ok, so my wife and I have now come up with a new compromise since she too likes soap in the shower but liquid soap by the sinks. Each shower will have the bar soaps and each sink the liquid soap. So options for everyone! Alan -

This is a beautiful condo, in a superb setting, with a location that can't be beat! We've been coming to the Eldorado for years, and this is by far the best unit we've stayed in. The kitchen is beautifully appointed, as are the bedrooms and bathrooms. When not down at the beach cabana, our family spent most of the time on the lanai (which stretches the entire length of the two huge bedrooms and living area) taking in the spectacular views of Kaanapali, the ocean, golf course and beautiful sunsets. There's no better spot for your morning coffee or evening cocktails! There was plenty here to keep the kids occupied too, with a great selection of Dvd's, some games, and various water toys - boogie boards, noodles, balls, etc. Everything was thought of here for a fun, and relaxing get away. We're so glad we found C205 and definitely plan a return visit!

An incredible unit- very luxurious with all new furnishings! The view from most main rooms was awesome! The lovely lanai stretched across the whole ocean side with views to the golf course, ocean and cabana. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in with stainless steel appliances and open to the living room. Everything was spotless! Truly one of the top knotch vacation rentals we have experienced. We would highly recommend this condo.

Alan's condo was just perfect for our family of six adults to luxuriate in while we stayed in Maui. Great location, beautiful view, lovely big bedrooms and baths. Added bonus is the cabana that is only for Eldorado tenants. We enjoyed the quietness of Eldorado also. Just a really great place!

We just celebrated a birthday with 10 women. The birthday girl really wanted to be in Maui in a very special place. To say that this unit was amazing would be an understatement. It was impeccably decorated and is situated on the golf course with views of the ocean from the lanai. It was warm, inviting and encourages togetherness with just the right amount of privacy, when needed. It had everything you could possibly want in the kitchen with great electronics throughout. You would never have to leave if you didn't want to see the rest of Maui. We created a very special memory and would all highly recommend it to anyone wanting to make a dream come true in paradise!

Our family had the opportunity to stay for a week in this beautiful remodeled condo.
This is a very spacious and comfortable unit, with amazing views of the ocean. The kitchen is well equiped and the outdoor barbeque is just wonderful for grilling fresh fish and meats.
The beach and Kanaapali Village are within walking distance, no need to get in the car almost a week. Our two boys had a fantastic time at the beach but also in the multiple pools that the Eldorado has to offer. This was a very relaxing stay and we look forward to coming back soon.
I highly recommend this unit for its convenient location, beautiful views, relaxing ambience and for being family friendly.

The unit my friends and I stayed in at the Maui Eldorado was spacious, clean, and located just 10 minutes from the beach. We could not have picked a better place to stay for a relaxing vacation, and we would definitely return if we come back to Maui in the future. Check in was a breeze. Parking was sufficiently available. We also enjoyed the nearby grills and swimming pools after coming back from the beach. The cabanas by the beach were great with beach towels and beach chairs. I wish the cabanas stayed open longer though as they close at 5:30pm daily.

What a vacation we had in this 2nd floor corner unit with end to end views! The place looks great the renovations came out beautiful! Convenient location to the beach, quick walk to the village, beautiful view of the golf course and water, it was perfect! We got certified to dive, drove the road to Hana, drove the West Maui loop, watched the sunrise on top of the crater, went whale watching, snorkeled at Molokini, and took a surf lesson, it was all so amazing we wish we could have stayed for longer! The place was amazing, perfectly situated right on the golf course, walk to whalers village and views of the water, we couldn't have asked for more! Owners were very helpful, place was easy check in/out and golf carts service for luggage and beach cabana was a great. Thanks for everything!

My husband and I took a vacation with our 5 month old son and my parents or a week. Having a new baby we wanted to have all the amenities of home, so we looked online to rent a condo. We saw the photos online and emailed to inquire more about the place. We received an immediate response learning that the condo had just been remodeled with brand new amenities! After signing the contract we were sent a welcome packet made by the owners that went into detail about how to get to the condo from the airport, what markets we should stock up on food and maps of te facility. There are three beautiful pools and community barbecues. The view looks out onto the golf course and the water. My husband loved the course. We absolutely loved our stay and next time we will stay for at least 10 days. The washer and dryer were so wonderful o have. It really felt like our home away from hoe. We can't wait to go back!!!

We absolutely loved this place. We've been to Maui many times before and stayed at various El Dorado condos. We were lucky to be the first renters here just after a major remodel. Everything was beautifully appointed from the wonderful kitchen to the nicely tiled bathrooms and general living space.
We came for Christmas with quite a few other family members and enjoyed cooking fantastic dinners and hanging out on the terrace with wonderful views of the beach and Molokai.
Overall, a wonderful experience and we look forward to our next visit!
