Email communication with property management was excellent. The location was excellent. The furnishings were dated. The bed, couch, recliner were comfortable. The unit was clean except for the rug. I was happy with the amenaties provided. Ease of parking was ok. The garden view and partial ocean view was nice. The price was reasonable. I would stay there again.

Our first experience of Maui we lucked out finding this spot - really loved having our own little apartment with beautiful grounds, right on the beach but in a quiet area, half a block from a supermarket. Wouldn't have changed anything. We stayed in 114 and 214, both have comfortable beds and easily enough kitchen accessories if you're in the mood for cooking. Didn't use the outdoor bbq's but noticed quite a few others, looked like fun. I love ceiling fans, and evenings were cool, so I don't know if the air conditioners were good, but really enjoyed the breezes flowing through. For that reason, enjoyed the upstairs suite a bit better, where we didn't have people walking by our open windows to their suites. On the other hand, being able to walk right out on to the lawn in 114 was nice.

THe unit was very dingy and old. We liked the older style, but the towels were old and scratchy, unit was well used. Comfortable, great location, unit photo used in ads was mis leading as it was not taken from the unit.

Victoria, BC, CanadaWaiohuli Beach Hale - a longtime favourite of ours
Left on 12/18/2011 for a stay in November 2011
We booked late, and there were not many units available in our favourite complex in Kihei. #214 is not a great spot, being on the front corner next to the parking lot - so noise from cars and occupants arriving and leaving.
The unit itself leaves a lot to be desired - it is very tired and desperately needs some renovating. The carpeting on the lanai is disgusting and the louvered windows are very dirty. The facilities were adequate and relatively clean, given their age.
That having been said, we were only in there for 4 nights, moving to another unit for the balance of our stay. We always enjoy staying at WBH, so were prepared to tolerate less than great conditions for a few days. We would not stay in this unit again. -

the parking lot location was noisy, the place was older but nice, the pool was great and the location on the beach was awesome. The neighbours were great also.

This is a great Complex to come and Relax, never busy, great sunsets, quiet pool. Location is perfect, right in the centre of the island, 15 min from Big Beach and Shopping. 20 Min from Lahaina. 20 min from OGG.
Actual Unit is a bit dated but very clean and comfortable. If possible get the 210 unit 2 bedroom, it has one of the best Sunset lanai. -

Great location; grounds, pool, beach lovely. Unit was clean but showing its age. No contact with property management firm and only brief contact with local property manager.

sorry not pat and jerry....barbara and Jeff Petersen Pat and Jerry stayed in 210. There is a palm tree right at our lanai in 210 that blocks the view of the ocean. Too bad since it is ocean front property. It needs to go.

There was plenty of dishes and kitchenware, however the garburator did not work in our unit, the carpet is very dirty, and there is an ant problem in the kitchen.
