Check in time was 3 pm but our condo wasn't ready for almost another hour. Not great when travelling on next to no sleep. When we finally did get in, the unit was not clean. The floors were dirty, the curtains were filthy and there was broken glass on the lanai. Ali'i resorts boasts they have luxury linens. Ours were dingy and very worn. The comforter on the master bed was dirty, pilled and had blood on it. Scary. When I called the next morning to complain, there was a cleaning crew in there in 20 minutes. They washed the floors, cleaned the showers and swept up the broken glass, however, we had to put up with the horrible "linens" & dirty curtains.
The location of this condo was everything we wanted. It's right on the beach beside Kamaole II beach. There are a lot of great little shops nearby and lots to do on the island. I would defiantly return to Kehei but we won't be staying in #303 Kamaole Nalu. I would probably try another unit before I totally write off this resort property. -

We stay at kam nalu every year but stay on the ground floor condos as they are updated and clean. We had to stay here because all the ground floor units were booked. This place is a dump. Things were broken, the kitchen was anything but " fully stocked", hair was all over the floor in each closet and bathroom.
We've noticed the past few years that kam nalu in general has gotten run down and needs to be updated. The best part of the condo was there were new tvs and the best thing about kam nalu is the location. Right next to the beach it's got a pool and BBQ site. Other than that if you're looking for fancy or upgrades I would recommend staying only in 106 or 105. -

We have stayed at Kamaole Nalu at least four times. We would always pick this place. It is super and its location is fantastic. Room 303 was excellent. We would stay in that unit again.
Two of my brothers also stayed at Kamaole Nalu. They had a good time, but the unit they were in, 601, was very disappointing. It needs a lot of work and should not be rented!!! -

The view was drop dead gorgeous! The condo was clean and big enough for four people. We loved having shops and restaurants across the street, so that after a day of sightseeing, we could park our car and walk to dinner and shopping. Other restaurants were a short drive away. Everyone dealing with the condo was very friendly and helpful. I would rent this condo again and would recommend it.

location is great but the common areas (halls, elevators) are a bit worn out. the stairwells both inner and outer were dirty and not washed for the week we were there. the grounds however, were kept in very good shape. the unit itself is very tired looking and the kitchen was not that well equipped.

Great location! Loved being right on the ocean and being able to walk to most amenities. Loved the yoga classes that were offered 3 x week, nice touch. The condo could use some updates(upholstery on couch, bed sheets and covers, extra beach towels), especially kitchen ware(could use a larger roasting pan & baking sheet) and all chopping/prep knives were completely dull!

We have stayed at this property for mulitple years. The location is perfect. Public beaches on both sides, snorkeling right in front of the complex (we see the resident turtle almost daily), great whale watching from the lanai (would recommend staying on 3rd floor or above for the view) walk to shopping across the street or to South Kihei. We rented kayaks and stand up paddle boards across the street and cruised the shoreline, we also rented bikes from nearby and did day trips to Lahaina and Perouse Bay. The accomodations are nice and comfortable the location is awsome, as we have tried other locations on Maui and think this is by far the best for weather, beach front, recreation and convenience.

Enjoyed the view.Did not like the fact that all the windows are so close and felt we had to really be quiet when we had quests over sitting outside.Electrical wires all over from the tV in the living room and loose shelf were not good.My husband felt the masterbedroom bathroom was so tight.Otherwise we enjoyed the stay.We plan to book something for this Dec again and will call you.the people that work for your company are all very helpful and very nice.

This location is perfect: right on the beach and next to good shopping. Love the layout of these condos as well.
