Description

Welcome to Heron's Roost! Enjoy our cozy log cabin overlooking the beautiful Kootenai River in Northwest Montana. Our cabin is located 13.5 miles East of Libby, MT and is 3 miles below the Koocanusa Reservoir. Whether its fishing, hunting, boating, hiking, gold panning or just relaxing by the river - you'll find it here at Heron's Roost. The cabin is 'turnkey' with a loft that sleeps 2, a queen size hide-a-bed, a well equipped kitchen, washer and drier, books, games, DVD's and high speed wireless internet. There is a covered deck to watch the abundant wildlife, a propane grill for barbequing and a nearby boat launch and fishing access to the Kootenai River. Full service dining at the River Bend Restaurant is within walking distance

Response from the owner Thank you for the great review for the cabin. We really appreciate it! Only one of the two osprey you found & rescued ended up surviving. We think the one wrapped in fishing line must have had injuries from the fall and was too weak to recover. At least you were able to save one of them! Hope to see you again in the future! Rita

How do damage deposits work?

If Rita (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
