We were greeted by the lovely owner Michelle who showed us round the property and made us feel at home. A lovely touch was the welcome basket filled with goodies such as Cornish biscuits, fresh baked bread, local eggs, bottle of wine etc. A very good start to the holiday!
The cottage was lovely inside - very light and airy. Lovely bathroom with a good shower and bedroom with a very comfy bed.
The location is amazing down a very narrow country lane (in fact I did wonder if we were driving down a private driveway at one stage!) The cottage overlooks open countryside and has the added advantage of a well stocked bird feeder right in front of the patio window - very entertaining whilst eating your breakfast or having a G&T; in the evening.
We really loved this cottage and the location (good for visiting all the sights) and are hoping to return next year.
A great cottage

Very friendly owners, lovely quiet position. The conversion of the barn had been well planned, with plenty of room in the shower etc. Lack of low level hooks for shorter people otherwise ideal for us. Never a dull moment watching the birds visiting the well stocked feeders - siskins, goldfinches etc and the tame pheasant !

Extremely comfortable for two as the second bedroom could be used for storing clothes etc - no hanging facility in main bedroom. The owner was very helpful, the cottage very clean and the location was ideal for us as it was central to the area we wished to explore. The birdlife attracted to the garden was a bonus, all in all an experience we would wish to repeat.

Following narrow roads behind high hedges we found a hidden jewel - the Brok's Barn. This cosy cottage has enchanted us from the first moment on. The warm welcoming made us feel like home soon.
The cottage is situated perfectly to discover Kernow near and far as well as the vicinal Southwest of England.
We are grateful for our time spending here and the hospitality we received.
A lovely cottage, a enjoyable stay.

The cottage was close to Lostwithiel and Fowey, which were major bonus points.
It was lovely and quiet set in the countryside. The owners were polite and made you feel very welcome and comfortable. Thoughtfully they gave us a welcome pack, with everything we could need.
A great stay and we would recommend it highly.
