We have stayed at Makena Surf at least a half a dozen times. It's our favorite spot. This experience was truly enjoyable. The unit was clean, well maintained and the view unmatched. As the vacation went on we became annoyed with the the comfort and size of furniture. It is small, old, tired, and out of style. The cushions slip off the sofa and loveseat if more than one person sits on them.
Our vacation nearly perfect, but can't sit and relax and enjoy the view! Patio furniture provided more comfort. -

Great location if you are looking for a quiet location with beautiful views. Ocean in front of unit, beach to the side and swimming pool just feet out the door. Unit has dramatic accent lighting and is nicely appointed. Could use some updated glassware and dishes. Good area for snorkeling right out front. This was my second stay.

This condo has an excellent location- close to the pool and a short walk to the beach. The kitchen has everything in it that you could want. The unit is updated and has nice bathrooms and an incredible view. The only recommendation I have is for the furniture both indoors and outdoors to be replaced as it is dated and very uncomfortable. The beds are fine though. Excellent value and ali'l Resorts offered excellent communication and service before, during and after our stay. We can't wait to return!

The unit is gorgeous. The master is spacious. The smaller room has no view but is still a nice room. The living room and open kitchen area are outstanding. The furniture including the Lanai all has to be cleaned or updated, but the setting and the unit itself structurally is amazing. The kitchen is well supplied and the bathrooms are wonderful. The service was great and friendly. The colors used in the unit are very calming. It was a beautiful place.
