Description

Chateau Chaumont 14 is a deluxe-rated three bedroom, two bath condominium located at the base of Aspen Mountain with views from its comfortable living area and a superb location with easy access to the center of downtown Aspen. The Aspen Mountain gondola is just a block away! The beautiful condo welcomes you from the moment you step through the front door. A wood bench with racks nestled in the foyer is the perfect place to take off your ski boots and store your gear, equipment, and jackets. The bright and airy kitchen features light cabinets and appliances, granite countertops, a farm-style single bowl kitchen sink, tile floors, and a breakfast bar which overlooks the living area. The separate dining area, wood floors, recently upgraded HD flat panel TV, wireless internet setup, and expansive windows complete the main living areas of the condo. The open concept design draws you in and is perfect for entertaining, family gatherings or relaxing after a long day on the mountain. There is a brick wood burning fireplace in the condo, however all the chimneys in the condo complex are undergoing a safety inspection and cannot be used. The fireplace is out of commission, indefinitely, until further notice

The master bedroom has a king size bed, a HD flat panel TV, and a renovated en suite master bathroom with a tiled tub and shower combination and granite countertops. The guest bathroom has also undergone a complete renovation with a tiled steam shower and bench. The second and third bedrooms each have two twins. The twin beds must remain twins and cannot be made into king beds. The condo is decorated in a comfortable mountain cabin style.

The building's courtyard features a large hot tub for the exclusive use of Chateau Chaumont residents. There is on-site parking for 10 resident vehicles on a first-come, first serve basis, and permitted off-street parking may be arranged with the City of Aspen. The building also has bike racks installed in the summer for your use as well. The local supermarket and grog store are less than a block away, and rental shops for ski and biking equipment are close by as well. You will find yourself in the Aspen core, and Aspen's world class shopping, dining, and skiing are all right outside the door! “Perfect place, perfect location!”

Response from the manager Needless to say we take our roll as the manager of this condominium very seriously and that of customer service. We do everything we can to be of service to our highly valued guests and will do just about anything to make sure that their stay expectations are exceeded at every turn. Then of course once in a "Blue Moon" you have a guest that is unhappy and chooses to use this venue to dishonestly portray facts to damage someone or a property's reputation, that is the case with this guest. This guest named "Josh" booked this reservation with us, told us there would be 6 adults and showed up with 10 guys that were in town for a "Bachelor Party Weekend." The guests that were staying in the condo below them said they were up until 4:00am making an incredible amount of noise and pounding away, these guests told me they did not sleep more than a couple of hours. I spoke with this guest (Josh) in the morning, he apologized for being so noisy, explained that they were here for a Bachelor Party Weekend. I informed him that he was in violation of the terms of his stay by showing up with more than the number of people that could comfortably fit in this condo, he said sorry, we'll be quiet going forward and they were for all accounts. I did offer additional housekeeping at an additional cost but he was unwilling to pay for it. I informed him that there is a washer and dryer in the condo and he said fine, we'll just wash our own towels and that was the last I heard from him until this negative post was made. It's hard to be of service when our guest does not tell us what we can do for them or is unwilling to pay for services that were upfront represented and explained. We hope that our other wonderful comments and reviews will not be disparaged by someone who is willing to be dishonest to retaliate for something brought on by their own actions, thank you.
